The site is walking distance from MTN biking & hiking trails, 5 minutes from rafting, & 10 minutes from breweries & wineries in the Gorge. Site includes a darling, clean bathhouse, laundry, shower, towels & soap, WiFi, fire pit, table & chairs, covered gazebo & barbecue. One queen bed and King bed in loft (low ceiling). Sorry, No children under 12 due to steep ledge/water.

A Cozy Night Out

There are places nearby that charge for "nature bathing" and "cold plunges." Here, you can walk in our woods and dip in the creek for free. Minutes from the Tin Roof Barn and other wedding venues, wineries, and white water rafting. The cabin may not have a kitchen, but great restaurants are only minutes away. And who wants to cook on vacation anyway? Best place in the area for a weekend get away, passers through, attending local events, or visiting kids and grandchildren. Pet friendly.

Cozy Cabin, near Mosier and Hood River #3

Our cozy cabin includes a loft bed, a kitchenette, a wood stove, a full bathroom and televisions with DVDs. Enjoy an enormous, furnished deck overlooking Mosier Creek with a barbecue and a fire pit. Unplug. Enjoy the peace and quiet! We are a hop away from wineries, the Columbia River, and Hood River. We are 54 minutes from Mt. Hood Meadows. One caveat, our Internet sometimes is great, sometimes spotty or sometimes non-existent, depending on the mood of our Starlink satellite.

Elsie's View: Cozy Vintage/Modern Cabin

Our 1920s cabin is nestled in the woods along the White Salmon River. 4 people max and be sure to read details about sleeping arrangements. We are best for 1 or 2 adult couples (one queen and one full bed are upstairs in each bedroom, and one full size couch is downstairs). A couple with 1-2 kids can easily work too. What doesn’t work are 4 adults who need to sleep separately - that means doubling up in one of the beds. Well-behaved dogs okay with advance notice.

Private guest suite nestled on the White Salmon River. This rustic 450-square-foot suite includes a queen sized bed, couch, table and chairs. Situated on ten acres of wild and rewilded vegetation, the suite enjoys mountain views and access to the river. Once a museum built to house primitive tools, it has been renovated into a cozy space which integrates original rustic building materials with new amenities and a private bathroom.

Down by the River

Bright Columbia River Gorge views with updated fixtures and finishes created for equal levels of style and comfort. Eco-friendly condo from solar panels, bamboo hardwood floors to heat/ac split units for temperature control. Close to all the gorge has to offer; biking, hiking, wine sipping, river fun and snow activities. We are very close to train and highway, noise is heard from living room, but very limited from bedroom.

Our home is a short 6 mile drive from Hood River and and near one of best windsurfing and kiting launches in the Gorge. You’ll love our townhouse because of the view, comfort and convenience. It is set up for families with kids, couples on a romantic getaway, solo adventurers and business travelers working with local companies in Hood River, Bingen and The Dalles.
