Karoo Country Style Guest suite

We would love you to stay in our Country Style guest suite, which is situated in a large leafy garden with a swimming pool, which guests are welcome to relax in and use. Secure parking is available on property. Our property has an inverter, which makes loadshedding less of a problem. The guest suit is attached to the main house but not shared with the main house. It has its own outdoor entrance and covered living area, so privacy is ensured. The light and airy rooms are decorated with love.

Numbi Valley, a magical Permaculture Farm

Numbi Valley is a wonderful example of off-grid sustainable living. There is one private guest cottage on the farm and Kath and Ross welcome you to enjoy their uniquely created space. There are abundant organic gardens, a spring fed fresh water plunge pool with amazing views, all in a very beautiful and peaceful valley in the klein karoo countryside. There are scenic walks, cycling routes, fresh produce , excellent massage, delicious pizza, stargazing and wi-fi. We would love to have you stay!

Vogelsang Farm Cottage | Off-Grid Escape

This private open-plan self catering farm cottage offers old-world charm with a stylish, minimalist touch. Tucked along a little stream, boasting with bird life, this private large 60 sq meter (650sq feet) 2 bedroom apartment provides a sense of peace and tranquility although conveniently located within the town in one of the most desirable areas of Oudtshoorn. Try a farm stay in our historic stone house perfect for romantic getaways or perhaps merely savour the Karoo in one of our superb self-catering chalets.

Tuinhuis, at Doornkraal

On the farm Doornkraal near the town of De Rust in the Klein Karoo, this Edwardian-style cottage is built in the tranquil shade of a 100 year old oak, with delightful views of the main house, an impressive Ostrich Palace constructed in 1914. This totally private cottage consists of 2 en suite bedrooms. Included is bottle of wine adn some firewood. The farm is easily accessible by tarred road, about 5 minutes from De Rust.

Large garden full of fruit trees and birds. Please note that most of our guests who book for one night regret not staying longer, so we do recommend longer stays if you have the time!
