Settle into this unique northwest retreat tucked into cozy Burke Bay. Built in the 1960s, this spacious A-frame has fun vintage vibes with modern comforts. Surrounded by 6+ acres of lush forrest, the whole crew will have plenty of room to get out and explore. At the base of two massive cedar trees, enjoy a relaxing soak in the bubbling cedar hot tub that overlooks the bay and its abundant marine life. Seals have been spotted swimming in the waters below. Chesnut Cottage - writers retreat @ Harper's Hill

The Chesnut Cottage is the perfect quaint romantic getaway or rustic writer's retreat. One of three AirB&B listings on our 10-acre property atop Harper's Hill, it is surrounded by woods and a short walk up from the Puget Sound where you can fish from Harper pier or kayak over to Blake Island. The Southworth ferry terminal is just over a mile away providing direct access to both Seattle and Vashon Island. Harper is the perfect base camp for exploring the beautiful Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.

Our newly renovated cabin is the quintessential place for your visit to the Kitsap Peninsula. We offer creature comforts like coffee, refrigerator, microwave, towels, shampoo, soaps and lovely decor inspired by the Pacific Northwest. Quiet and serene, but just 10 minutes from the town of Silverdale, 15 minutes to Poulsbo, and 19 miles to Seattle, as the crow flies. Catch the ferry from nearby Bremerton, Kingston, or Bainbridge Island. Come relax, enjoy the weather and nature we have to offer.

Rustic cozy cabin. Open concept for easy entertaining with glorious views of the water. Main floor bedroom with Queen bed plus open loft with Queen bed. The cabin has one bathroom opposite the downstairs bedroom. Great outdoor living with two decks; front deck facing the waterfront. Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use. One exterior security camera, which monitors the driveway is present.
