Unwind in the roll-top copper bathtub, elegantly set upon a mezzanine platform. We are located in a peaceful village, so ask guests to be mindful of noise. A traditional sandstone barn conversion, with a sheltered garden in the beautiful village of Temple Sowerby. Located in the Eden Valley you will be well placed for trips to the Lakes or the Dales. In the village there is a local pub offering 'Day Fishing Licences' on the local river, a church and 'The House at Temple Sowerby' if you prefer some 'Fine Dining'. A short beautiful walk will bring you to 'Acorn Bank' National Trust House, with spectacular walks along the river and a tea room.

We offer attractive self catering accommodation in a quiet picturesque rural Cumbrian village in the Lyvennet Valley at the northern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You will enjoy exclusive use of this well equipped house for 5 guests (with additional mezzanine double sofa bed if required). Pikelet sits beneath the pyramid of Dufton Pike in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Pennine Way (near Cross Fell and High Cup Nick) and the Cumbria Cycle Way. The property adjoins our 18th century home, formerly The Black Bull Inn, on the village green just a few doors down from The Stag. It's perfect for exploring the fells of the North Pennines, a country walk or ride, visiting the towns and villages of the Eden Valley or just taking time out surrounded by books and art.

Accommodation provided in delightful character house in Morland near Penrith. The Eden Valley is a charming unspolit part of Cumbria but only 20 minutes from Ullswater. Private annexe, with separate entrance, small kitchen, sitting room with TV. Downstairs toilet. Private outside patio with table and chairs. Facilities to cook simple meals. Tea, coffee and milk provided. It is important to note the bedroom is en-suite but with access through the main house.
