Haven by the Beach Waterfront Fully Self Contained

This private guest suite is on the ground floor of my waterfront home. With views across the garden to Bruny Island and a direct path leading to a sandy beach, this is a quiet Haven. The suite includes; a large bedroom, king bed, private entrances, garden deck, contemporary bathroom, and a kitchenette. The location is the stunning South Arm Peninsula offering many coastal trails, beaches, and a key site for viewing the Aurora Australis. Easy access to Hobart (40mins) and the Airport (30ms).

Waterfront Haven Apartment

Designed by 1 + 2 Architects and built by VOS our home won a HIA award in 2005. Part of our brief to the architects was to design a part of the home where our guests could have complete privacy and feel spoilt . It has become a sanctuary for many people . Recently our local renowned Interior Designer has visited the apartment . The result is spectacular and calming . Quality furniture is enhanced by soft furnishings from Adairs. Professionally laundered bed linen adds to the sense of luxury.

Chambls Shack

Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.

Great Bay Hideaway

Here at Great Bay Hideaway relax in this peaceful setting whilst planning your Bruny Island adventures. Only a stones throw from Get Shucked Oysters and the Bruny Island Cheese Company and a brisk walk to the beautiful Great Bay beach. Enjoy a bath or laze by the fire after a BBQ on the deck overlooking the coastline with Mt Wellington in the background. Lune, lunawuni is a secluded, eco-friendly cabin set on 2 acres of private waterfront bushland. Overlooking the d’Entrecasteaux Channel, with views of Hartz Mountains National Park, and with direct access to the waters edge of Sheepwash Bay, the property offers guests an intimate, nature immersed escape, with comfort in mind. Lune owners Sarah and Olly acknowledge the Nununi people, Traditional Owners of the land on which the cabin stands, and pay respects to Elders past and present.

After arriving on popular Bruny island it is a joy to leave the crowd behind as you wind down the private road through towering trees to the shores of sheepwash bay. Set on the waterfront, in a national park like setting it offers an intimate retreat to call home during your exploration of Bruny Island. This idyllic property boasts an outdoor bath which is surrounded by a private bush setting and water views. You are centrally based to access all that Bruny Island has to offer like Bruny Island Cheese Co (5 minute walk) Cape Queen Elizabeth Walking Track (5 minute drive) The Neck & Truganini Look Out (5 minute drive).

Aalto Cottage - Bed and Breakfast!

Aalto Cottage is a self contained studio cottage situated in Lunawanna on Daniels Bay. This is the quiet, private area of Bruny Island but close to many walks and attractions on the Island. The cottage is near the family home but has many trees and shrubs to provide privacy for guests. We will only interact if you require some help. We are inclusive hosts and welcome people from all walks of life

Aerie Retreat

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.
