Set back from the canal access track it offers visitors peace and privacy with an enclosed sunny garden , safe for children and dogs . Newly refurbished , it has a spacious bedroom with super king bed and a single bed suitable for a child . The living room has views to the canal . Stable Cottage is situated in a beautiful location in what is known as, “The Pearl of Scotland”. The cottage is over 200 years old and has been converted from an original stable used by the horses working on the Crinan Canal. It is in pristine condition having recently undergone extensive renovation. It is a perfect location for all outdoor activities and a perfect base for exploring this beautiful region of Scotland. One can’t help to be gripped by the beauty right on one’s doorstep.

Maida's cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Ford, close to Loch Ederline. There is a private driveway to the cottage with a farm gate to keep the sheep on the hill. There is ample parking and a gated/fenced private garden. Although on the edge of the village, Maida's cottage feels remote with a rather stunning backdrop. There are many hills to walk. There is no TV or WiFi, this is a cosy getaway from hectic lives so sit back and enjoy the log fire with a good book.

A beautiful, recently refurbished one-bedroom private stone cottage, The Steading is a self-contained cottage just across the courtyard from our main house. It benefits from a lovely setting amongst the Scottish countryside with glorious views across Loch Fyne, and has many unique features. There is ample private parking directly outside the cottage (spaces for two cars with extra parking if required) and you are free to enjoy the fields and open spaces around you.

Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.

Bearnus Bothy on Isle of Ulva

Bearnus Bothy has been lovingly renovated using our principle of ecological design to repair, repurpose and use what has been washed-up by the sea. It is one of the last old residences outside of the main dwellings around the Main House on Ulva. As such there are no neighbours until you reach the tiny community on Gometra - where we live - another three miles down the track.
