Enjoy a restful getaway in this snuggly cottage in the Chumani, Kilifi countryside. It features a comfy handmade bed, a porch, and a semi-open-roof bathroom for light and sun rays. Relax on the porch, sunbathe leisurely on the hammock, or enjoy the huge outdoor space in the beautiful green and breezy garden. The outdoor garden and restaurant are shared with 2 other cottages. The price includes breakfast. Other meals are cooked in a shared kitchen by yourself or our staff. The beach-15 mins away.

Isana House - a tranquil oasis

Isana House, or "House of the Rising Sun", was designed in a Swahili-style and is positioned to catch the north-east as well as south-east breezes, depending on the time of the year. It is furnished comfortably in an uncluttered & simple style, with locally-made Swahili/East African furniture. Each bedroom has its own sea facing verandah and our local team (a chef, 2 maids & a gardener) live on site - they will cook to your requests, provide massages and make your stay memorable. The open plan living room and very well equipped kitchen, offers a great place to chill and the cottage is fully staffed. It’s an easy 20 min walk to the beach and a few minutes to the creek. Tucked away in the tranquil Mida Forest, our pretty one bedroom cottage offers the perfect blend of comfort and nature. A hideaway designed for guests who want to experience the beauty of Watamu at their own pace - wake up to birdsong, sip coffee on the verandah and wander through the mangroves, along the creek or on the beautiful white beaches. We are one of only a few houses with a private gate onto a path with direct access to the creek for SUPs, kayaks and swimming. You will love it here!

Ushawishi Kilifi is a rustic 2-bedroom little boutique tower house gem, tucked away in the serene & beautiful Kilifi. Ushawishi is just a 5 min walk from the serene red brick beach on Kilifi creek. It is the perfect place to escape and relax. It is self catering & self service. If you want to hire a chef in during your stay let me know in advance to book him (subject to availability) at an extra cost. We have a strickt NO PARTY policy. It is in a quiet neighbourhood. Guests must love dogs.
