You can stay in and watch the sunset from the deck with a glass of shiraz, or you can use the peaceful location as a base to visit nearby cellar doors and other Barossa attractions.

Situated in Hahndorf in the stunning Adelaide Hills, just 15 minutes up the freeway, nestled under historic oak trees and within walking distance to the vibrant main street. Luxuriously appointed, it is the perfect space for couples to relax between exploring all the Adelaide Hills and surrounds has to offer.

Barossa 1900 Vineyard Retreat

Barossa 1900 offers luxury vineyard accommodation for 10 people in the Barossa Valley, one hour’s drive from Adelaide. The private two-acre property is home to some of the Barossa’s oldest dry-grown Grenache grapes and is located a short walk to cellar doors, restaurants, breweries and retail shopping in Tanunda. As a sister property to Barossa 1900 Homestead, together these two properties sleep 18 people. We offer generous inclusions and private winemaker tastings by appointment.

The cottage is located in a quiet street within walking distance to restaurants, wine and cheese bars, smokehouse, bakeries and Italian cooking school. Only an hour's drive north-east of Adelaide, The Rusty Olive is the perfect base for exploring the world famous Barossa Valley and ideal for a romantic getaway.
