Umthi Lodge is a guesthouse on a private nature reserve in South Africa, with views of wild game all around. We are centrally situated in this Gem of the Eastern Cape, halfway between Port Elizabeth and East London, aptly named The Sunshine Coast. Port Alfred offers stunning beaches , top notch coffee shops and family restaurants . Take a kayak up the beautiful Kowie River or book a sunrise/ sunset Barge Cruise.

Bushmans River Roost Cottage

In a 2 hectare garden of the River Roost B&B property we offer a self-catering cottage by the Bushmans River. With 2 en-suite bedrooms and a living area with a pull-out sofa the cottage can accommodate 6 guests. Open your sliding doors and fully experience the African nature that surrounds you while you enjoy the views of the river and the ocean. Down by the river there is a private jetty if you would like to moor your boat or fish. You could also try pottery. We give lessons.

Villa Makhaya

Our holiday house is located at the Kenton Eco Estate. The Kenton Eco Estate is a private nature reserve where waterbucks, zebra’s and birds are also calling it their home. A remote will give you access to two boardwalks which will lead you to the estate private beach (approx. 2.5 km). Personally one of the most pristine beaches I have ever seen in my life.

The Beach Hut.

The Beach Hut guest house is close to Kenton on Sea town centre and a short walk to the blue flag beaches and both rivers.. You’ll love The Beach Hut because of the thatched roof ambiance, the outdoor space and swimming pool.. The Beach Hut is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and groups of up to ten people.

Seaside Beach House with Pool

Seaside Beach House has remarkable Seaview's. Approx. 10m from the beach. Entertainment haven with a bar, pizza oven, fire pit, private pool, indoor braai area and a pool table, wifi and an invertor. 5 bedrooms all with their own private bathrooms. A lovely open plan kitchen and dining/lounge area. Great for the whole family!
