The property is a renovated clockmaker's cottage with plenty of original features. It is set in a rural location, situated amongst dairy farms. Popular accommodation for holiday makers and for attending local weddings; particularly at Iscoyd Park, Hawkstone Hall, Pimmhill Barn, Grange Barn, Cholmondley and many more in Shropshire, South Cheshire and over the border in to Wales. Located in a quiet rural village in North Shropshire close to the Cheshire and North Wales borders. "The Den" is a recently refurbished ground floor self contained guest suite with views of our garden. A great base for exploring local towns and countryside with two village pubs within short walking distances and many dining options in local towns. For walkers Whitchurch is the start (or end!) of The Sandstone Trail, a 35km path between Whitchurch and Frodsham.

It is in close proximity to the picturesque town square, wide range of bars, restaurants and shops. Orchard Cottage Rural Retreats is home to two luxury Glamping Pods, The Laurels and The Beeches (Our Dog Friendly Pod) – situated in Pell Wall just a short drive or walk from the Market town of Market Drayton. Next-door to our site we have a Secure Dog Exercise Area ‘The Dogs Paddocks’ available for private hire we also have many lovely walks on the doorstep and a traditional pub The Four Alls inn at the end of the drive.
