Feel spoilt by the elegance of yesteryear in the 1800’s manor of Mount Pleasant. Dine al fresco beside your private pool at this historic property nestled under Table Mountain. Unwind with a glass of Cape wine in the gracious and romantic guest suite with its own vine-strewn garden, or curl up in an armchair by the grand stone fireplace. The spacious and airy open-plan guest suite is ideal for couples and young families. Centrally located in leafy Newlands, within walking distance of the famous sports stadiums, UCT and SACS. The house has been recently renovated and is a family home, and the property of Mount Pleasant is an interesting slice of Cape Town’s history, dating back to the 18th Century. The guest suite is ideal for a couple or family and consists of: - one large open plan bedroom-lounge (sleeps 3 - 4) - a full kitchen - bathroom with bath, shower, double vanity - a private lap pool - private garden looking up to Table Mountain and Devil’s Peak. In summer, lazing beside the sunny pool, dining outside and having a traditional South African “braai” (barbecue) are a must and in winter the roaring fire, full kitchen and TV provide a warm retreat. The bedroom-lounge is open plan with separate kitchen and bathroom. King size bed, a single sofa bed and a further single bed set up in the suite for 4th guest if required. Cable TV and WiFi are included. On offer are bottles of wine and drinks, laundry and cleaning services. Other extras which may be available are: use of the baronial dining room for meetings (seating for up to 18 people) or special occasions (daytime only). Please note: the pool is NOT fenced and is immediately adjacent to the suite, so please take extra care (therefore the space is not recommended for children who cannot swim). Private garden and pool. Off-street parking for 1 car. Use of the large dining room on request. Guests can enjoy total privacy, but the family and domestic staff are usually at home to welcome you and happy to answer questions and assistance via phone or text.Our friendly dogs: Boris, Frankie, Josh and Pixel will always give you an enthusiastic welcome (but your garden and wing is private so the dogs won’t bother you). Newlands is one of the original leafy suburbs of Cape Town bordering the University and State President’s residence. Lovely and sheltered from summer winds and cafes, restaurants and shops are a stroll away. Newlands is perfectly central for most of Cape Town’s most popular excursions. Table Mountain and cableway, the V&A Waterfront, beaches, wine farms, and the city centre are all within 10-25 minutes' drive and Ubers etc are readily available. The suburb of Newlands itself has many attractions, but to enjoy the full offering of Cape Town we recommend hiring a car or taking a taxi (Uber or call-taxi). Private guides or drivers will also collect directly from the premises. Airport transfers/shuttles/taxis are available at the airport or by booking through a transfer company. POOL Important: the pool is not protected with a net or fence and is immediately adjacent to the suite so please be careful and we do NOT recommend the suite for infants/children who cannot swim. PETS We can accommodate pets on request, but be aware there are resident dogs. EXTRAS Extras, such as wine, can be paid in cash or through the SnapScan App. MEETINGS & FUNCTIONS The baronial dining room can be booked for special meetings and daytime functions (rates/availability on request). It is a handsome room and seats 14-18 people. SHOOTS & LOCATION The Mount Pleasant manor house and grounds may be available for professional photography/film shoots. This would need to be by special arrangement directly with owners or their agents. Rates vary according to specifics of the shoot. (Please note: use of the guest space for commercial shoots would be an extra cost and is not included in the accommodation rate).

It's also a short ride from the airport and UCT, and conveniently located for all local attractions. Of street parking but also convenient to get around with Uber. Guests are requested to conserve water due to current water restrictions

Accommodation offers: Off street parking, and a separate entrance, complete privacy, a quiet and peaceful small garden environment. A fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, bedroom with queen-size bed, both lounge and bedroom opening onto a sunny courtyard/patio and a modern bathroom. The street has a friendly security patrolling 24h service and CCTV cameras which operate around the clock. Entire house Available to meet guests and help with advise and queries. Peach Lane is a leafy cul-de-sac which ends on the banks of a mountain spring in Newlands Village. The village forms a central hub around historic mountain springs and breweries. The area is part of the University of Cape Town precinct. Taxi and Uber services available.

This sunny, private garden flat is separate to the house with it's own entrance and off-street parking. There is an enclosed paved garden with a Webber BBQ. We are close to major highways, a stone's throw away from the Kenilworth Race Course and 2kms away from a vibrant village with restaurants and pubs. You will find a convenience store, hair dresser and coffee shop 200 meters away. For load shedding backup, we have an UPS for the WIFI, a gas cooker and rechargeable light bulbs and light.

Our bright and airy studio is conveniently situated in Lynfrae, Claremont with a private separate entrance. An ideal location for business or pleasure. Secure off street parking behind an automatic gate. There is a comfortable queen size bed, lots of cupboard space and a relaxing area to watch TV in comfort from the couch. The kitchenette is well equipped, and the en-suite bathroom with shower completes the studio. French doors open onto a private patio and garden. Wi fi and DSTV premium.

The apartment has a fantastic location situated a mere 400m below UCT, it is ideal for visitors to UCT and Cape Town looking for a central location. Baxter theatre and Rustenberg Junior very close proximity. Private entrance, off street parking, the apartment has a sunny bedroom with two three-quarter beds, modern bathroom and a living room/ kitchen area, that makes for an extremely comfortable short or long stay. A short walk down to main road with various restaurants, shops, bus routes.

Centrally located in the leafy suburbs of Claremont, we are 20 minutes from both the city center and some main tourist attractions.

Welcome to 17 on Severn-A comfortable and quiet space for you to relax in and have a very good nights sleep. We are close to Constantiaberg Medi Clinic and Melomed Clinic. As well as the US Embassy. Meadowridge and Constantia Shopping Centres are close by. Also in easy access are restaurants churches, gyms, running trails and beaches. Easy access to both the M5 and M3 for commuting to the CBD and out to the beautiful wineland. We hope you enjoy your stay in our quiet neighborhood.

Welcome to our beautiful cottage in leafy Newlands. It sleeps three people comfortably. You are welcome to use the garden and pool, with relaxing loungers and braai facilities. Enjoy walking, hiking, running & cycling in the neighbourhood. We are close to great coffee shops and restaurants, Kirstenbosch, Newlands Forest, UCT and the airport. There is a refrigerator, microwave and flat-screen TV with full DStv. (You may be visited by a friendly Spaniel)

A cosy hideaway with a private entrance, fast WiFi and books, set in a tranquil, lush garden. A bistro table and chairs overlook the pool. The bedroom features a TV with access to Netflix, Disney+, Showmax, and DStv, a workstation equipped with a large desk and office chair, and a compact en-suite bathroom with a great shower.
