The Forest Hermitage of Turtle Haven Sanctuary

The Forest Hermitage is part of Turtle Haven Sanctuary nearby and has a specific purpose of providing inspiration and retreat for artists, writers, naturalists, and those drawn to stillness and inner contemplation, in need of rest, and renewal. The two-story structure is located in a forest grove on several wooded acres, across the road from a view of the Nooksack River and valley. This Pacific Northwest corner is renowned for its spawning salmon in season, abundant eagles, and other wildlife.

Mt Baker Log Cabin w/ Hot Tub

This restored 1950's authentic log cabin maintains all it's original charm with added modern amenities and comforts. The Logs at Glacier Springs is the perfect getaway after a day on the mountain or exploring the surrounding Mt. Baker wilderness. Relax in the cedar hot tub, gather with friends by the fire pit, play board games next to a roaring wood stove fire, snuggle up with your furry friend on the couch or read a book in our cozy nook. The Logs lets you experience Mt Baker your own way!

The Tiny

Enjoy this beautiful setting situated between the charming city of Bellingham and the world class Mt. Baker Ski Area. You'll be staying in our brand new tiny house with views of the eagle sanctuary and within walking distance to the North Fork Eagle preserve, including trails to the Nooksack River. We are 37 miles to the ski area and 20 miles to downtown Bellingham. Perfect for skiing, bald eagle viewing, hiking, biking, dining, and of course, relaxing. Enjoy your stay!

Middle Fork Cabin

This is truly a unique cabin. Designed by architect David Neiman & featured in the book "Log Houses of the World," it combines Japanese style features & NW log-frame construction to create a truly unique experience. Included in the rental is use of the 13+ acre wooded property, including access to the middle fork of the Nooksack River. The cabin is close to the year-round outdoor recreational opportunities that the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest provides.

Unplug and Unwind

Enjoy this creekside A-Frame cabin situated on it's own private acre in the woods. Light a fire in the outdoor firepit or curl up next to the pellet stove inside. Have a soak in the wood fired cedar hot tub under the stars. The cabin is the perfect place to chill out after a day on the hill or just a great hideout to escape into nature for a few days. Great couples get away: 760 sq ft cabin with a king bed, double head shower & cozy fireplace. Bunk beds (limited headroom on top bunk) & queen sofa bed make it possible for a max of 6 guests.
