Located 18 miles outside of Homer. Hand built here on the ranch in the style of my family's hunting cabins; with a few finishing touches. Offering a full kitchen, bathroom , shower, this cabin has electric lights and a oil heater in place of the temperamental wood stoves. Our area offers stunning views of Kachamack bay, our small ranch and peony farm. Its modern appeal includes a master bedroom downstairs, a loft bedroom upstairs, and a sofa couch in the living area for a comfortable max of 6 people. The units also include a beautiful wet room, clawfoot tub, wood pellet stove, kitchenette, and private deck. Set 6 feet off the forest floor, this naturally lit cabin has an especially enchanting canopy view of Resurrection Bay. Salted Roots Cabins offers 5 private nightly units.

The Bear Cub Cabin

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.

But we're just moments from the Seward Highway. Guests have access to the wood fired lakefront sauna and hot tub. Pet friendly.

Located 10 minutes from the Seward harbor, shops and restaurants. You can enjoy a reprieve from the busyness and excitement of town in our peaceful woods, while being walking distance from the lake and near the Bear Lake trailhead. Our studio cabin has a queen bed downstairs in the main area and also a loft with two twin beds. And a bedroom upstairs with a queen. It boasts a fully functional kitchen and bathroom.

Welcome to Clear Creek Cabin located just 5 minutes from Seward. The cabin is 800 sq ft, 2 bedrooms (1 king/1 queen pillow top beds) the couch pulls out to a bed or I have a double sized memory foam bed available for a 5th person. There’s a bathroom w/ shower and Fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, living room area with Smart 65 inch tv, and wifi. Covered deck off the front with a bbq and a fire pit.
