Rosedale Private Cottage, artists paradise.

Rosedale accommodation is perfect for a family of four, two adults and two children, or three adults. Our property is situated in Rosebery Highlands 4 km from New Denver. We have four acres of beautifully landscaped gardens overlooking the Valhalla Provincial Park. We have an amazing vista looking 20 km down Slocan Lake with incredible weather watching. There are beaches, cycling, hiking trails, skiing, and boating opportunities. We happily lend our canoe, with paddles and life jackets too.

Beautiful Soaker Tub, King Bed, and Comfy Space

I have endeavored to create a comfortable space that provides a wonderful base for adventuring. The walls are covered in local art, I love showcasing local artisans. Paintings are reminiscent of Nelson and are for sale. The beautiful king sized bed and live edge wood counters are taken from sustainably harvested trees and created by a local craftsman. The upstairs is spacious and features a wood burning stove. The downstairs is a beautiful grotto bathroom with a sunken tub big enough for two.

Uphill Sanctuary

Uphill Sanctuary is a bright & cozy 300 sq. ft. basement guest suite in Nelson, BC. The Rail Trail trailhead is across the road, making it perfect for strolls, mountain biking, or dog walks. Downtown is a 15–20 minute walk away (though the return trip is a steep climb!) Your suite includes private parking, a comfortable living space & a kitchenette equipped with a toaster oven, microwave, fridge, kettle, & coffee grinder. After a day of exploring the Kootenays, unwind on the outdoor patio.

Pet Friendly! There is a suite downstairs that is also a nightly rental.

Our property is very peaceful and private surrounded by nature with stunning views of the Purcell Mountains. It is a 30 min walk or 5 min drive to the charming town of Kaslo and Kootenay Lake. Perfect for families who enjoy being in nature and around animals. Our spacious guest suite has its own completely level entrance, is suitable for people with disabilities and is wheelchair friendly. Easy access to numerous hiking, biking and cross country skiing trails.

A great spot to park your gear and enjoy the lake view after a long day of play! This is a recently renovated guest basement suite in a home just minutes from the beach and Nelson. Our 1 bedroom space is completely self-contained and has it's own covered parking space and private entrance. There's a large front yard for guests to use, and locally-famous hiking trails near by. Although we don't have pets of our own, we welcome well-behaved fur babies.

Situated on Kootenay lake, our suites provide travelers with a choice between two unique and beautiful accommodations. Both suites are spacious and feature incredible lake and mountain views, private decks, fully equipped kitchens, and private access to a secluded beach.
