I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

Located in the heart of Kyoto, we are 7-minute walk from the Imperial Palace and Imadegawa Station (K06), with Kyoto Station 10 minutes away by subway. We offer four bicycles free of charge for you to explore the charming backstreets that buses cannot reach. Additionally, for long stay guests , we provide a complimentary shuttle service to or from Kyoto Station upon request.

This house is almost 100 years old house and it has been just renovated in April 2017. The house was designed by the architect who loves the traditional machiya house. Close to subway Karasuma-Oike station, three stops from Kyoto station. Easy to do shopping, eating, sightseeing. Drug store and the grocery store is located in 5 minutes walking distance. This Taishian house is whole house rent and you don't share any room with others. Family and group welcome!!

There are wooden deck besides living space, you will have relaxing time at the wooden deck with garden view. Electric bikes are rent for free. We are located in Kawaramachi near downtown and convenient for public transit, just 10 min from JR Kyoto Station by taxi, 6 min walking distance from the Kawaramachi subway station, and easy access to the shopping and areas. There is very quiet surrounded by hotels and residences, yet convenient reach of bus routes to other landmarks in Kyoto.

'SAIGU' is a distinctly quaint 120-year-old Kyoto Machiya in the north-west area of Kyoto city. In 2010, the house was carefully and lovingly restored to its original beautiful style. It has four bedrooms so can accommodate 4 people comfortably, or 8 people max. The house is about 92 square meters.
