Hand Built Log Cabin

This cabin was completed in 1940 by previous owner's grandmother with only the help of her horses. The wood was cut from the property. Originally it had no electric or plumbing, we updated it more in 2021 keeping as much original as possible. Rustic cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower only, washer and dryer, full eat in kitchen and living room. On site you can relax watching horses, mini horses, goats, chickens & ducks as well as wild life. You can feed and pet the 🐐 goats.

You’ll love my place because of the outdoor space and the comfy bed. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. Pilot 3 is located on the second floor and offers a budget-friendly stay with: • Queen bed • TV and desk • Half bath en suite (toilet & sink) Two shared shower rooms are conveniently located just outside for the four Pilot rooms. Guests who prefer a full private bath can choose one of our Captain Rooms on the first floor. All guests can enjoy a large community space with a kitchen and activities, as well as seasonal access to the swimming pool.

Welcome to Serenity Log Inn. This authentic 1930s log cabin is located one mile from the historical town of Kimmswick and 25 miles from St. Louis with easy access to major highways. There is a $30.00 fee per use of the historical fireplace. Fee covers set up, dry wood for burning, fire starter and maintenance, and $18.00 fee first use to cover clean up. To prevent infestation of insects, no outside wood allowed. 24 hr notice required.
