Mattie’s House 17 Ardview

Mattie’s house is in the village of Port Ellen,very central 5 minutes to the ferry port and minutes to the sandy beach.There are shops and hotels and distilleries all within walking distance,if you are coming by car there is on street parking and if you are coming by public transport the bus stop is meters away,please be aware we are in a residential area.The house has one double bedroom,one twin,living room,kitchen and bathroom with walk in shower,there is oil central heating in the property.

Pier House

Pier House is beautifully located with stunning views. A huge lounge with Juliette balcony. The house is presented over 2 floors with the living room on the upper floor to maximise the exceptional vista. The house has all modern facilities and comes well equipped and presented. There are 4 bedrooms, a main bathroom, a separate wc and the master bedroom is complete with its own en-suite and shower. The property is on the edge of the beach and next to the pier, utterly perfectly located.

The Black House, Islay

The Black House is a unique property situated between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the island of Islay. We use the house for High School to save commuting from Jura every day so don’t expect a pristine holiday let but rather a loved family space. There are 2 double beds and 2 bunk bedrooms (if you’re a party of single adults then 4 is the maximum number). Views are stunning and Islay’s great for whisky, wildlife or just rest and relaxation. Gartartan Port Ellen Modern home with sea views

Gartartan is spacious with efficient underfloor heating and insulation. The open-plan living area has an abundance of light, wooden flooring throughout and a modern wood-burning stove. Portbahn House, near Bruichladdich Distillery

Portbahn was our family home before moving to Jura, and we hope you'll find it as welcoming as we did. This modern waterfront house sits right on Islay's scenic coastal route with stunning loch views. Sleeps 8 across 3 ground-floor bedrooms—perfect for families. Large enclosed garden with trampoline and swings. Walk to Bruichladdich Distillery (10 mins), beaches, and coastal paths. Underfloor heating and wood-burner make it cosy year-round. Dogs welcome. The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Coull Farm Cottage - Stunning Beach Views

Coull Farm self catering holiday cottage is situated on the farm itself. The farm is in a rural location on the west coast of Islay overlooking sea, five minutes walk from the world famous golden sands of Machir Bay. The hills, sea and moorland surrounding the farm are filled with wildlife and flora. Daisy cabin is a comfortable yet modern one bedroom log cabin nestled into the woods. Daisy features a small bathroom, kitchen, lounge area and bedroom alongside an outdoor wraparound deck complete with gate for keeping dog in or mine out . Hot tub area where you can relax under the stars. The outdoor space also has bbq and dining area. Turn left or right at bottom ofdrive & you will arrive at beach , or just take in Bird life in the valley .

Whether you’re looking for a family break, a whisky enthusiast on the trail or a keen cyclist looking to explore the island, No7 Lagavulin is the perfect base for your Islay adventure. This traditional 3 bed ground floor distillery cottage features two double bedrooms and bunk bedroom (Sleeps 6) with separate living room, kitchen and main shower room. To the back of No7, you’ll find a good sized garden with views down to Lagavulin Bay.

The property is situated a few minutes’ walk from the “Main Street”, where you will find Bowmore Distillery, the MacTaggart Leisure Centre, Restaurants, shops, hotels, and public transport links to other areas of the island.
