The unit is approx. 575 sq ft and has an open floor plan with kitchen/living area complete with custom craftsman details and cabinetry. There is a full kitchen for preparing meals with concrete countertops. The bedroom has a flat screen TV, writing desk, closet and comfortable queen sized bed.( There is an air matress available for extra person) The apartment is eco-friendly with solar-powered radiant heat and hot water. We are located just around the corner from the Rose Garden, Live Oak Park and convenient to the UC Berkeley, the Greek Theater, Lawrence Hall of Science. Tilden State Park and other East Bay Regional Parks are just a short drive and have fantastic biking and hiking trails with stunning views and many areas to explore. We are also short drive or BART ride to San Francisco. We are conveniently located for excursions to Marin County, Wine Country and all the other greater Bay Area destinations We live upstairs, are long term Berkeley residents and we are more than happy to answer questions and assist you in any way to make your stay more enjoyable. The Berkeley Bitty House is our cozy little detached guesthouse, located in a quiet residential neighborhood that is a few minutes drive to campus and within walking distance to many landmarks. Although itty bitty, it feels luminous and private, with a large skylight and windows that overlook a private deck with hot tub. The view of the bay from the private deck is breathtaking.
