You can relax while watching the boats go by, take long coastal walks, go for a swim in the ocean, dine in the local award winning pub/restaurant (The Bulman), explore the 16th century fort (Charles Fort), take a stroll into town or an electric bike & head out exploring. The Lodge is situated on its original site which dates back to the 16th Century when it was the home to the Gatekeeper of Muckruss. It is still very much part of local history which is why we have retained its historic charm while at same time creating an air of modern sophistication within .

The local area is a mecca for surfers, swimmers, cyclists and those who just want to go for long peaceful walks on one of the many local beaches. The local village is Ballinspittle, which offers all the basics and a few surprises.

The Cabin

This unique tiny house is an inviting & creative space, located along the Wild Atlantic Way - exactly 1/2 way between the 2017 Urbanism award winning town of Clonakilty and the renowned beach Inchydoney which is known for being one of the most beautiful and relaxing beaches in West Cork. Built using native Douglas fir & surrounded by trees, the cabin is located on the grounds of a small residential home where guests will have their own separate outdoor decking and privacy.

The Coach House is an ideal spot for a romantic hideaway on the Wild Atlantic Way. The mezzanine bedroom boasts a kingsize sleigh bed , overlooking a cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove for warming your hands and feet after a walk on the beach or a dip in the sea. For small families the sofa in the sitting room converts into a comfortable single bed. Outside the traditional coach house doors is a stone paved terrace, garden furniture & steps down to a sunken garden
