Because the house is perfectly situated between downtown and Washington Park it is ideal for those doing business in the city center or tourists visiting the historic sites. The perfect mix of old and new in the Great House of Galesburg built in 1857 by Silas Willard who helped bring the railroad and higher education to Galesburg. There are four bedrooms each with a full bath and their own unique style. A full kitchen, dining room, front room furnished with piano & base, side parlor, library, vault, front & back porch and many sitting areas available for your enjoyment. Just a 1/2 mile walk through a historic neighborhood to our beautiful downtown Galesburg.
