Welcome to The Parakeet — a newly renovated historic cottage in downtown Port Salerno, a charming fishing village on Florida’s coast. Just a short stroll to waterfront restaurants, live music, marinas, and scenic views, this private retreat blends Old Florida charm with modern comfort. The Parakeet is part of a larger home, fully separated from the main house by a locked utility room with two sets of secure double doors for complete privacy. Our doors are open to all, and we’d love to host you!

Charming, Barn Apartment on Farm, with Animals

Our charming and rustic guest apartment is built into half of our 8 stable horse barn on our 5 acre farm. If you are looking for a unique place to stay in Vero Beach, our guest suite is perfect. Built in 2015, it has one queen bedroom, a sleeping loft, a living area, kitchenette, a bathroom, and plenty of outdoor area to enjoy the farm, such as our fish pond, small chicken range, miniature silky fainting goats and horse Mr T. We are in the country, but close the beaches and Dodgertown.

Tropical themed guest house with 55 inch roku tv and queen size bed. Private bathroom and access to semi private Heated salt water pool. Owners and kids may use pool as well on occasion. Take time to enjoy the sound of nature all around you. The backyard overlooks the canal and has a variety of plants, flowers , and trees.

The area is full of restaurants, to navigate to I-95 is only a 20 min. drive, West Palm is about 30-45 mins!

Cute little cottage in a quiet small beach town neighborhood. One and a half miles to beautiful Hobe Sound Beach, an easy walk or bike ride.! Plenty of little shops and grocery stores within a mile of the cottage. If you like fishing bring your poles, lots of good spot Animals under 40lbs. are welcome; we do have a nice fenced in yard.! No cats! Highly allergic!!! A 25.00 fee 1 time will be charged for all pets
