Riversdale Shepherds quarters

Our accommodation is a small two room shepherds quarter that has been renovated . It is located one and half - two hours from Christchurch , one hour from Hamner Springs hot pool resort . 50 minutes to Kaikoura the popular whale watch and seaside attractions with spectacular views of the mountains alongside the sea coast. Cheviot a small country town is just 20 minutes away , attractions in our area includes Gore bay , Waiau and Hurunui rivers for jet boating and fishing walks and lots more.

Black Estate Winery B & B

A beautiful studio B & B at Black Estate's organic vineyard. Located on the ground floor of an architecturally designed building which also houses a lunch time restaurant featuring local and organic produce (closed Tuesday and Wednesdays). Consistently awarded two Hats by Cuisine Good Food Awards. The views are vast, expanding from the Home vineyard to the majestic Southern Alps. Complimentary light breakfast provisions are supplied and a takeaway meal can be ordered on the day you arrive.

Tranquil, country wildlife retreat

Our fully self-contained guest suite is located above our farmhouse offering rural tranquility, privacy, security and a stunning view over the surrounding countryside. Set on 10 acres, we have a herd of fallow deer, sheep and ponds with resident families of wild ducks. We are constantly adding native plants and trees to the setting. We have all the benefits of the countryside - peaceful open spaces, and ready access to the coastline, beaches, forests and rivers of North Canterbury.

Maruia Springs Cottage

Extra cleaning precautions being taken for your safety. Free unlimited WiFi and Netflix Next to a public domain and close to some of New Zealands most beautiful walks. Relax and look out the windows at the mountains and there is a high chance of spotting the many native birds of the area. Particularly wood pigeons and Tui’s. This cozy cottage offers a lovely feeling and uncluttered living. There are two areas to sit and relax inside and some nice sunny spots with a table and chairs.

Arden Farm Cottage

Arden Farm cottage is on our farm 5 minutes from Waikari in the Waikari/Scargill Valley We have a 730 ha property running merino sheep and cattle plus a small vineyard growing Pinot Noir grapes. Guests are welcome to explore the farm with permission, depending on what’s happening on the farm at the time, by walking or you are welcome to bring your own mountain bikes. We are 1 hour north of Christchurch; 15 minutes drive from the Waipara wineries and 45 minutes from Hanmer Springs.

Romantic Vineyard getaway, hot tub & awesome views

Our Wine Pod, a beautiful Tiny House, sits privately nestled on the Georges Road Winery & Vineyard, with panoramic views across the vines to the hills & alps beyond. Enjoy the hot tub under the stars, relax on the deck, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting up at the Winery, use our complimentary bikes to explore the area, with kitchen and bbq (bring your own supplies or purchase local antipasto fare at our Cellar Door), luxury bedding, bluetooth sound and with breakfast included.

Cosy Motunau Cottage

Warm, cosy and comfortable cottage, situated near the peaceful Motunau village, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax. Private outdoor space. Spectacular views over the ocean and plenty of room to turn a boat. We are an hour north of Christchurch, 30min from the Hurunui Mouth taking the scenic route and close to great local wineries. Beach access is 2km from the cottage. Guests are welcome to walk in our gully or interact with our alpacas.

Relax and enjoy the newly renovated self contained unit. Step outside to enjoy the beautiful farm views. This is a real rural getaway! Just a short drive to Cheviot, Gore Bay and Waiau. If you want to venture further Hanmer Springs is approx 45 minutes. They have thermal hot pools or Kaikoura which has the whale watching, dolphin encounters and many more. Our wee family of 4 love the quiet and beautiful surroundings we have up here.

Cosy Cottage in the Vines

Unwind in your own private hot tub while soaking up the stunning vineyard views. At night, enjoy a sky full of stars—clear and bright with no city lights in sight. This fully self-contained cottage includes everything you need, from a kitchen to laundry facilities. Set right on the Waipara wine trail, it’s just a short walk or ride to some of the region’s best wineries, including Greystone, Waipara Springs, Torlesse and Black Estate.

Pahau Downs Farm B&B Stay

The farm is 5500 acres Sheep & Beef station, giving guests the chance to get a real feel for NZ. The cottage is self-contained,well decorated, guests are able to relax, enjoy a Farm Tour, free with two nights BBQ, Pool, Spa. DUE TO COVID Dinner service is not available. The Minimum night setting is two but if you would like to contact us, to see if we can help with your travel arrangements. We will do one night on request.
