If you are looking for a getaway in the middle of the mountain but not too far from civilization, this is your place! Perfect for hiking, 30km away from Straja ski resort and other attractions like Pasul Vulcan and Parang. It’s perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids or 3 adults. Cheia - traditional old village in Transylvania

Cheia village is located in the heart of the Apuseni Mountains of Transylvania, right next to the beautiful Râmeț Gorges (Cheile Râmețului) and three other scenic gorges. We are surrounded by forests, majestic mountains, and wild landscapes. The guesthouse is a renovated, original thatched house from the 19th century. Our place is remote and can be reached on foot via a marked trail or by 4x4 in dry weather, with proper tires. We can also arrange transport by car from Brădeşti to our location.

Cozy converted barn with fireplace; nature retreat

Newly restored and converted barn, a magical space with lovely views of the surrounding mountains and hills. The barn is ideal for 2-3 people, but can accomodate a maximum of 5, with a double, a single and a sofa bed (access to sleeping space requires climbing stairs or a ladder). 20 metres from the barn, there is wood and a fireplace for an evening chat and stargazing by the fire. An outdoor shower with solar heated water is also available. The kitchen is functional and has amazing views!
