Retreat to The Old Smithy and find peace and tranquility here. Located along the beautiful Northumberland coastline, there is much to see and do for any age. The secluded sandy beach is a 5 minute walk, where you can stroll with the dog, look for sea-life among the rocks, swim in the sea (if feeling brave). If you like walking the northumberland coastal path is on the doorstep, visit the many historic castles and villages nearby, or Keen golfers can play on one of the oldest courses in England.

Welcome to our self-contained hilltop retreat surrounded by fields and panoramic views over the Northumbrian coast. A place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Located within walking distance of a remote outstretched beach and just a few miles from the coastal village of Alnmouth and historical village of Warkworth. Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

A hidden gem within the centre of Alnwick for self-sustaining modern guests. Everything you need is just a short walk away including the world renowned Alnwick Castle & Gardens. Our flat has two good sized bedrooms one with a Kingsize bed with fresh Egyptian cotton bedding and there are an additional two comfortable sofa beds. Bedroom one has an ensuite with shower and there is also a main bathroom with a bathtub. A lovely light and spacious flat including a lounge-kitchen room.

Wildhope View: A detached, characterful, stone cottage - especially for two. Located in the historic hamlet of Bilton, a stone’s throw away from the vibrant village of Alnmouth. A wonderful spot from which to explore the rugged Northumbrian coastline, idyllic countryside and magnificent, enchanted castles. Wildhope View is a cosy, romantic retreat with spectacular views of the rolling hills of the Aln valley and the, “18 arches” viaduct built in 1849 by Robert Stephenson.

The Hogglet - a perfect coastal getaway

The Hogglet provides a cosy, comfortable retreat for two people. Offering a fully equipped kitchen, a large bedroom with an en-suite and a homely living space. Off street parking, guest patio and garden. Two small dogs or one medium dog (labrador size) welcome. We are surrounded by beautiful walks including the river Coquet and the breathtaking beaches. A stones throw away from Warkworth castle where you will stumble among the local pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Poppy Cottage Embleton

Situated in a quiet courtyard in the centre of the picturesque village of Embleton on the North Northumberland Coast. Poppy Cottage sleeps 4 plus cot in two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both bedrooms are upstairs. Family bathroom with bath and over bath shower, the bathroom has underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. Downstairs there is an open plan sitting room, kitchen and dining room. Small enclosed gated patio/garden to the front of the property.

The Granary, Bog Mill Cottages, edge of Alnwick

A beautiful, modern and tastefully converted stone barn retaining much of its original character and charm. The Granary is one of 3 holiday cottages converted from the former farm buildings of Bog Mill. Bog Mill is no longer a working farm. All three cottages are completely self contained with each cottage having their own individual garden areas, parking areas and garden furniture. The cottages do not overlook each other or share any facilities.

Craster Fishermans Cottage

Welcome to our little house by the sea. A historic stone cottage with cosy contemporary interiors finished with natural materials. The cottage is in Craster which is a charming village with beautiful walks along the sea front and a great pub. The south-facing paved garden at the front of the house is a little sun trap, sheltered by a stone wall. I like to have my morning coffee there. Check in and out on Mondays and Fridays.
