Watch the sunset over the lake each night from both the main living and huge walkout basement! 4 bedrooms—Master and guest room upstairs both ensuite bathrooms and 2 guest and bath downstairs offer lots of sleeping space and privacy. Large sauna and jetted tub/foosball also to play/relax in the basement. Dock, kayaks, swim and shallow beach entry make it a perfect house for families with kids- not to mention the newly redesigned playhouse! New patio/fire pit, beach path 2024!

Winter Activities Rustic Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Cell service is good. Rustic cabin with some modern amenities. You won’t be missing anything, but you will not have Wi-Fi, Internet, TV or microwave. You will have access right off the property to the snowmobile trails and Swedetown ski trails are less than a mile away. The property backs up to 30 acres that you can snowshoe or ski on. The second and third bedroom are in the loft if you’re not comfortable with this do not book this listing.

Downhill skiing at Mont Ripley and Mount Bohemia are both within a 1/2 hour. Home to our PT clinic so, there are several pieces of fitness equipment available for use during your stay. Large parking area.

The property is located right on US 41 and just 3 blocks from the main snowmobile/UTV trail #3.

We are located on The 10th hole of Portage Lake 18 hole golf course and are conveniently 3 miles from MTU and downtown Houghton with its beautiful waterway, restaurants, shops and minutes from the ski hill, nature trails. We are 60miles from Porcupine Mts/Lake of the Clouds, 40miles from Copper Harbor. Snowmobilers can connect to the main trails from ungroomed legal trail at the bottom of our road- Plenty of parking for your trailers. Come explore the U.P.!

Close to town, parks, beaches, restaurants, etc. 2 car heated garage, sauna, weight room, jet tub, fire pit and much more!

Keweenaw Castle: Balcony Suite

The Balcony Suite has the panoramic view of Lake Superior. This second story suite allows you to watch for passing freighters, northern lights, and the concessional sea plane. Maison Du Lac

Relax on the shores of Lake Superior, listening to the waves crash against the beautiful jacobville sandstone, while staring out into the lake. This house is family friendly, located on a quiet section of the lake, about 20 minutes to Houghton, Mi. Due to a neighborhood requirement, we can't accept snowmobilers.
