Serene and welcoming,Sundari Retreat was built in 2008 and is close to all amenities in Otaki. My home is bordering a very pretty farm and is sunny and private. Sundari is a self contained cottage on my property and is decorated in Balinese style with a bamboo ceiling and solid timber floors. The furnishings and artwork are also Indonesian as is the sub-tropical garden and deck area. Two minutes drive away are all the cafe's, restaurants,shops and heated swimmimg pool. You will find a boutique movie theatre in Waikanae, 15 mins drive from Otaki. 5mins walk to Skintech Beauty clinic for great massages/nails etc. 10 mins drive to Te Horo , head towards the beach and you will find Kirsty's bus stop cafe in Sims Rd. The bus is situated amid a gorgeous coastal garden. Kirsty is an ex deli owner and caterer. I guarantee you won't be able to resist her treats! Head off to the beach,walk in the bush,play golf, go mad in the outlet shops or do nothing at all! What ever you need to relax and spoil yourself, the choice is yours! Soak in the outside bath under the stars! Fabulous brick outside fireplace is also great for cosying up to under the stars. If there are 3 of you I do have a very comfortable retro caravan on the section that can be hired for an extra cost. That person would have to use the studio bathroom facilities. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate. Located just 2 minutes off SH1 and 10 mins north of Levin, the Cabin Noir has amazing views of the Tararuas. Our newly renovated 2 bedroom cabin is just the ticket for a night or 3 away. We can sleep up to 6 comfortably, has a full kitchen, brand new bathroom with large shower, washing machine and drier, 2 bedrooms and a comfortable fold-out couch in the lounge.

Relaxing Rural Retreat in Otaki

This new two-bedroom rural retreat is ideal for a relaxing break with family/ friends. Great indoor/outdoor living with a deck and views over a family friendly lifestyle property with a separate driveway on a no-exit road. The house is energy-efficient with solar power. It is a 5-minutes to the Ōtaki township, where the Te Wananga O Raukawa campus, and the Golf Course are. The township also contains a library, supermarkets and takeaway shops. The beach and Otaki Forks is just a 10-minute drive.

Friends & Family Fun Times at Foxton Beach

Come to the wonderful Foxton Beach with friends and family. This house is close to the estuary and sunset walkway, and a 2 minute drive to the ocean beach. This is a large family home with all mod cons and is an awesome place to create wonderful memories. It is fully fenced, so super safe for kids and dogs. It is a very quiet and peaceful spot. There’s a café, Ginger Ninja, just around the corner and 2 fish and chip shops close by - Delish and Mr Grumpy’s. A 4 Square grocery store is close too.

5 Minute walk to the Beach, all day sun!

This is a cosy Kiwi Bach, with all day sun overlooking a park with playground. Five minutes and you’re on the beach. The house has two great decks for BBQ’s and relaxing. Fully functional kitchen (including a brand new air fryer) with everything you need. There are two newly renovated bedrooms one with a Queen Bed and the other with two king single beds, all with beautiful new linen. A brand new bathroom (no bath) and separate toilet. There is also a Sleep out with a queen bed and toilet.
