I'm less than a one hour drive from Cork, Kilkenny, Dungarvan and Waterford and 40 minutes from Limerick so central. The beautiful Glen of Aherlow is nearby with great walks, cycle trails and horse riding. Tipperary and the trail is approximately 43 kilometres long. We are 5 minutes to Clare Glens, 10 minutes to Newport town and Murroe Village which hosts Glenstal Abbey, 34 minutes to Limerick city, 30 minutes to the scenic village of Killaloe,46 minutes to Shannon and 2 hours to Dublin Airport. Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Dromsally Woods Apartment

Newly refurbished one bedroom apartment in the heart of Cappamore village. Located in a quite development with all mod cons. Its only a 20 minute drive to Limerick City and close to Clare Glens and Glenstal Abbey. The perfect place to chill out or it can be a home away from home for those working and travelling with a dedicated work station and good internet. A car is recommended but there is a good bus service that operates from Limerick City to Cashel about 6 times a day - the 332.

Nenagh for boating, fishing or sailing on Lough Derg. Thurles for visits to Holycross Abbey and Semple stadium and Cashel for visits to The rock of Cashel. Special local attractions include Upperchurch loop walks, The Kilcommon Pilgram Loop walk, and the Kilcommon prayer garden.

Hawes Barn - 200 Year Old Cottage

Set within the Croc An Oir Estate (translated as Crock of Gold) and tucked away down a leafy boreen, this beautifully restored, converted stone barn offers a truly relaxing holiday where hospitality and a traditional Irish experience is offered in abundance. Croc an Oir is a romantic retreat for a couple, and traditional features include a cosy woodburner, a half door, arched windows and a delightful loft style bedroom. There is also a private courtyard and garden.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

Thatched Cottage County Limerick

200 year old cottage in a rural setting 25 minutes from Limerick City. A convenient stopover between east and west coasts, and a good base for visiting the Rock of Cashel, King John’s Castle, Adare and Bunratty. Or as a destination in itself if you want to see how they lived long ago and want a few quiet days away. The house still has the old mud walls and thatched roof, but has been upgraded to suit twenty-first century living.

We are happy to welcome you to stay at our bright comfortable self catering apartment conveniently located in the midlands. Situated 2 min from Exit 23 off the M7 Motorway on the outskirts of the village of Moneygall where the pub and shop are within walking distance. It provides a wonderful base for exploring the heart of the country while also allowing further journeys to some iconic tourist sites.

We are conveniently located, only 3 km's from Junction 26 on the M7 motorway. The self catering apartment is located over the garage and separate from the main house with its own private entrance and is accessed by stairs. There are lots of activities to enjoy in the area, hiking, kayaking and various other water sports. There are many excellent golf courses close by.
