OCEANSIDE RETREAT

A beachfront studio unit sleeping 5 on the same large rural beachfront property as Penguins Retreat and Whitebait Cottage. The sleeping area of the large unit is divided into two so that the queen bed and the second area with another queen bed and single bed have visual privacy but the wall does not go to the ceiling We do not live on the property so this place suits independent travellers who have a car, wanting to spend time on a west coast beach. Only 3 minutes drive to Hokitika township.

Only a mere 3 minutes stroll to witness Sunset Point's stunning sunsets! Soak up the picturesque views of the Southern Alps, Mount Cook and the untamed Hokitika beach. The CBD is a short 2 minutes walk where you can immerse yourself in local cafes, restaurants, boutique shops, craft galleries, copper, gold, glass and pounamu studios.

Off The Beaten Track - The Country Cottage

Modern one bdrm, King Bed cottage in gold-mining Stafford. 10-minute drive from Hokitika, cafes and shops in the countryside. Our modern 3 bed house is newly renovated, and a 5 minute walk to the centre of Hokitika where you can find all sorts of treasures, from a range of great cafes and Restaurants, to Pounamu (Greenstone or Jade), a movie theatre, and a range of very stylish shops, with everything from clothes, jewellery, souvenirs, flowers, and hardware. If you walk through town you can stroll right onto the beach, where you can sometimes spot seals, little blue penguins and other wildlife.

The Old Bakery

Newly renovated two-bedroom apartment in the heart of Hokitika, thoughtfully transformed from one of the town’s original bakeries. Just a 5–10 minute stroll to local restaurants and the beach. Sunset Cabin

Our "cool little" cabin is a very small, detached, cozy, private bedroom looking out towards the rugged Tasman Sea. You will enjoy your own private space, comfortable queen bed, beautiful sunsets, beach access, free parking and the convenience of a 3 min beach walk to Hokitika town centre. Bathroom facilities are detached from cabin and shared with the guests in our other cabin. Our place is perfect for couples and solo adventurers.

This older style 3- bedroom home doesnt get any closer to Hokitika township. Located right in the CBD, it is a couple hundred metres from every amenity you need....the beach, restaurants, New World, shops etc etc. It has a large private backyard, with seating, fireplace and BBQ area. Please note: this house DOES NOT have a table & chairs and dishwasher.
