Welcome to our custom-built log cabin on 6 acres in Danbury, WI. This is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cabin with an expansive backyard & stunning patio. It features a stone fireplace, fire pit, lounge sofas, & dining tables. This cabin is private with lush woodlands around it and endless leisures like floating down the river in the summer sun or having a snowball fight as the flakes fall in winter. No matter the season, this cabin is perfect for family & friends to gather to enjoy each other’s company!

Your private getaway up North! Full renovation throughout makes this a tranquil and relaxing, yet modern escape. Enjoy a warm bath in the jacuzzi tub, grab some coffee in the gorgeous custom kitchen with SS appliances, and cozy up to a movie in front of the electric fireplace! Two full bedrooms and baths for amazing privacy. Explore the local scenery by day and Sit around the bonfire by night! You won't find anything this peaceful without sacrificing the modern essentials. Fiber internet, too!

About halfway between Duluth and Minneapolis, 7 miles west of I-35. Please inquire if you have a slightly larger group, we may be able to accommodate! An additional fee of $30/guest per night over 6 applies. Please note that per county regulations, only registered guests are allowed on the property. Other fun places & activities nearby: Osprey Wilds, Kettle River, Banning State Park, Grand Casino, Munger Trail (biking and snowmobiling). Lots of space for your boat &/or snowmobile trailer!

Enter a world of peace and calm deep in the woods. Make delicious meals in a well-stocked modern high-end kitchen, play in the river, relax in the sauna or enjoy a bonfire. This is not your typical cabin but a spiritual eco-oasis with a unique eclectic blend of modern, rustic, Native American and Japanese aesthetic.

The Cardinal Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!

Panoramic river cabin w/fireplace cozy all winter

Come stay at the river this winter! With panoramic views from the living room and bedroom, you will be amazed at the wildlife. Share your time with deer, otters, geese, swans, even an occasional bear. This cabin has direct frontage on the Snake River. Wooded acreage gives you privacy and the up north feeling, yet is less than 1 hour from MPLS, and 10 minutes from historic Pine City, a great place for you to shop and grab a bite. Near state parks for hiking, XC, snowshoeing, snowmobiling.

Peaceful A-frame cabin on Sturgeon Island

Relax, fish, stargaze & enjoy nature at Sturgeon Island A-frame. It sits on 1.5 acres of land and 400ft of shoreline, creating a peaceful & secluded getaway location in Minnesota. It is only 90 min north of Minneapolis and 50 min south of Duluth located on Sturgeon Island on Sturgeon Lake. Fish right from the dock, Kayak & paddle board, or bring your own boat! Grab a cup of coffee and watch the loons right from the deck, unwind & simply enjoy being in nature at Sturgeon Island A-frame!

The Gabin. Part garage, part cabin. All good.

The whole group will be comfy in this spacious and unique spot in the pines. The overhead door is the only “garage” thing about it! There are plenty of activities in the area, or stay right on our nearly 15 acres of forested land to relax and walk or ride our trails through the trees. We’ve added a screen for the garage door opening. Now you can roll up the garage door to feel like you’re outside! The screen cords have been damaged so it will no longer retract, but works great down!

Perched high among the trees with breathtaking views of the hidden lake and wildflower meadows, MetalLark Tower is the perfect getaway. This two-story, 800 sq.ft. cabin has one king bed, one hide-away bunk bed, and one bathroom. We put the living area high up on the second floor to give our guests a bird’s eye view. Floor to ceiling glass brings the outdoors inside, and each season brings its own unique perspective. Staying in MetalLark tower is truly a one-of-a-kind experience.

Our Nordic inspired A-Frame is known as the Stylle Hytte which is Norwegian for ‘Quiet Cabin’. Here you can take in 5 secluded acres of woods with trails winding down to the private riverfront. Only an hour north of the Twin Cities, enjoy modern conveniences like WIFI (60mbps), smart TV, complete kitchen, full bathroom, a bedroom and loft both with queen beds, a cozy living room with a real wood fireplace and an outdoor electric barrel sauna. Calendars are open 9 months in advance.

Sturgeon Lake Studio

Cozy dog friendly studio cabin to get away from it all! Situated on a half acre that also has RV hookups for those that want to park a camper. There are several lakes close by with boat and water access. Tons of hiking and exploring opportunities at Banning State Park, Moose Lake State Park and Jay Cooke State Park. Also in close proximity to ATV/biking/snowmobile trails including the Soo line and General Andrews. 15 minute drive to Moose Lake. And less than an hour from Duluth.

Renovated cabin nestled high in the pines overlooking the river. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space where the river views will take your breath away. We have a great selection of games, books and movies to snuggle up with in front of our warm fireplace. Bring your snowmobiles, ATVs and ice fishing gear as we are close to the Gandy Dancer Trails and our beautiful river flows to two lakes for great fishing - end at our bonfire pit to roast S'mores and swap stories!
