A cosy elevated retreat with history and character, The Annexe offers a peaceful escape overlooking the beautiful village of Matlock Bath. Built in 1823 as the servants’ quarters, it blends period charm with thoughtful modern touches. It enjoys impressive far‑reaching views, retains its heritage and provides tranquil, comfortable living. Access is via stone steps from the lower driveway, so while parking is roadside, this adds to the sense of privacy and seclusion. Perfect for the Peak District.

Nestled in the leafy suburb of Dore, on the edge of the Peak District and Sheffield. Self contained garden studio, with open plan kitchen/living room, shower room and upstairs attic style bedroom with double bed , sloping ceiling with some restricted height,& garden view. Private garden space & alfresco dining area for own use. May not be suitable for very overweight, tall or elderly people due to height restrictions and narrow stairs. Please feel free to ask prior to booking if any concerns.

The Pudding Stop - Bakewell - Free Parking

Our beautiful and newly refurbished (2023) cottage is right in the heart of Bakewell, Derbyshire. The location could not be more convenient - it's a minute walk into the centre where you will find excellent pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent shops. We now also include free on-street parking. The Pudding Stop sleeps 2 guests (babies and dogs welcome too!) and is available for short breaks and week stays. This little hideaway is set within the garden of our 1830’s Grade II listed property.

Hayfield View Studio: High Peak self catering

Hayfield View studio flat is a first floor apartment with sweeping countryside views, stocked with all the amenities you could need for a successful self catering holiday. EV charger available. It has modern decor with a country feel and is a snug little getaway, ideal for country walks or cycling holidays yet also within easy reach of nearby attractions and amenities. We welcome one small dog to stay in the studio free of charge.Two dogs may be accepted.Please check with us before booking.

The Old Vicarage Coach House

The Old Vicarage Coach house was built in 1750 as part of a farmhouse. In 1860 the property was purchased as a Vicarage for the Church. Now completely refurbished it is warm, with stunning views across farmland to the Pennine hills. It has its own entrance where there is a washer dryer. Up the oak staircase to a kitchen with fridge, microwave/oven and induction hob, bathroom (shower), double bed with sofa and TV. Close to Lyme park and Peak District but 15 minutes from Manchester Airport.

Netherhall cottage surrounded by glorious views

Netherhall cottage is located in the heart of the stunning Hope Valley, where walks from the door step can be enjoyed in every direction whilst leaving the car in our secure car park. The surrounding area offers spectacular views which stretch from the popular village of Castleton all the way to Hathersage. Hope has a selection of cafes, pubs and shops and is perfectly placed for action packed activities such as caving and climbing. Towns and villages nearby such as Bakewell and Buxton.

Cosy studio cottage in East Cheshire

'The Vestry' is an 1846 church building, now a delightful studio cottage for couples, families or business trips with easy access to Manchester airport/city. On the edge of the Peak District it includes a comfortable double bed, 2 single beds on the mezzanine. Relax in front of the wood burning stove, or on the lovely rear deck overlooking our brook and woodland. It’s an easy 5 minute walk to the village with great pubs, shops and restaurants. We have an EV charger available at 20p/pkh

Sequoia Lodge is located in the pretty village of Darley Bridge, making it ideal for anyone wanting to explore the Peak District & Derbyshire Dales. Adjoined to the main house by a wall, you have your own private entrance & courtyard (Summer suntrap!). The living/kitchen areas are bright and airy with huge high beamed ceilings and the bedroom with kingsize bed has French doors opening onto your private courtyard, so you can unwind on a warm evening or enjoy a lazy breakfast in summer.

Situated only 10 minutes drive/on foot approximately 35 minutes from the famous spa town of Buxton, this modern, open plan barn conversion offers a tranquil retreat for those in search of peaceful break in the country or as a base for walkers and cyclists to explore the many places of beauty in the surrounding area. The well equipped apartment sleeps two with a double-bed and boasts a modern kitchen and bathroom with shower. In addition we provide free WiFi and parking for all guests!
