Riverdance Cottage (No loadshedding)

BEAT THE WINTER BLUES with the new enclosed veranda as well as veranda fireplace and now also indoor fireplace. No LOADSHEDDING! Riverdance off the grid! The cottage is situated about 30 meters from the main house and 45m from the river. It is elevated and overlooks the BreedeRiver. 2 x two-man canoes are available. There is rainwater to be used as cooking and drinking water. There is a TV in the cottage with Netflix and DSTV Live connected. This is the place to relax and regroup. Enjoy

With a private dock and tennis court it offers lots of activities: water sports, tennis, bird watching (king fishers, weavers, hoopoe and more), fishing or visit De Hoop Nature reserve. This relaxed cottage has something for everyone! It sleeps 6 (3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms) and has an indoor fire place and outdoor braai. When we first opened our spot we were truly over the hills and far away... now the village has grown around us a bit, but the place can still feel pretty secluded. The architect-designed house mixes inside/outside space with plenty of room for family.. Explore wetland, river and the Langeberg mountains. With plenty of comforts this spot is paradise for children, dogs and a retreat for adults.

Heidelberg is a very historical town,with many old historical buildings.The historical buildings are all numbered and you can do a nice walk and visit them and learn about the history of these houses and buildings.There's 6 history buildings in our street,so when staying with us its all close by.
