Awaken in a bright, cheerful space with views of a quaint village from first floor windows. A cottage-like feel is created by painted wood panelling and traditional furnishings designed for comfort. Have breakfast at table nestled under a skylight. Situated in a peaceful Cornish village, Little Anvil occupies a central position (both the north and south coast are within easy reach) ideal for exploring beautiful West Cornwall. A newly converted first-floor apartment which forms part of the owners 18th century cottage, one of the oldest in the village. With its own private entrance, the apartment is full of character, with luxurious touches and modern appliances - a welcoming and comfortable place to return to after your day out. In addition to this we are next door to the village pub, where you can relax with a drink in the beer garden, have a meal or chat with locals. The pub also has a small shop for essential supplies. The open plan living/kitchen area is well equipped with a large flat screen, Smart TV for relaxing in the evening, plus a Bluetooth speaker for your music and free wi-fi. If you like to cook the kitchen/dining area facilities include an induction hob, full size oven, large fridge-freezer and dishwasher. There is also a washer-dryer should you need it, and heating for the colder months. The bedroom is decorated in a relaxing French style with a king-size bed, luxurious linen, and an en-suite shower room. If you are bringing your dog with you there is an enclosed outdoor courtyard area for convenience, which also has a covered storage area for bicycles/kayak. The nearest town is the historic market town of Helston (4 miles), famous for its Spring celebration - Flora Day. The thriving and pretty coastal town of Falmouth is a short drive (for visitors to the University campus, it is only a 10min drive) and the beautiful port of Porthleven with its many fine restaurants is also within a 15-20minute drive. Nearby is the stunning coastline of The Lizard Peninsula, or you could travel towards the evocative and mysterious landscape of West Penwith, stopping to visit St Michaels Mount on your way to unforgettable St Ives and beyond. West Cornwall has so many stunning places to visit, that we hope you will want to return time and again. Sole and private access to all areas of apartment with own private entrance and key for coming and going! The apartment also has an enclosed courtyard area with storage for bikes if required. The apartment is in the village of Porkellis, close to art and culture, restaurants, a beach, and family-friendly activities. West Cornwall is known for its heathland, golden sand, artists' colonies, ancient stone circles, and Iron Age villages. We are in a rural location, so a car is highly recommended. However there is a bus stop just outside the apartment, but village buses are mysterious infrequent animals. The nearest town is Helston, approx 4 miles, and the nearest train station, Redruth is 8 miles. The A30, which is the main road connecting Cornwall with the rest of the UK is approx 10 miles. Nearest ferry port is Plymouth (50 miles) and the nearest Airport is Newquay (31 miles). The nearest international airport is Bristol (166 miles) The apartment has its own entrance and courtyard and is adjacent to the main house which is occupied by the owners.

The Shed

A self contained garage conversion comprising of - Bedroom (double bed), bathroom, cosy living space with log burner. Kitchen area with hob (NO OVEN), Air fryer, fridge, kettle and microwave. Tea/coffee/milk and some breakfast items (bread/cereals) are provided. As are towels and bedding, toilet roll & hand soap. Outside sitting area with countryside views. 5 minutes walk to coast path. Quaint village pub with beautiful sea views within walking distance. Unfortunately we do not allow any pets.

Dog Friendly Hut | Big Views, BBQ and Firepit

Kick back, relax and enjoy the unique location of the Oyster Shepherds Hut. Hidden away in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to the Helford River and creekside village of Gweek. This sustainably built traditional shepherds hut will awaken your senses as you gaze through the porthole window from your bed at the rising sun. Explore the rugid shores made famous by Game of Thrones and Poldark, or simply dine al fresco beneath the starry skies before cosying up in front of the log fire.

The Apple Loft - perfect for a Cornish escape

The Apple Loft is a beautifully converted cottage in the grounds of Tremayne House, providing accommodation for two adults. The Apple Loft has a private courtyard to the back, perfect for long meals on sunny evenings or dozing in the sun. The spacious bedroom and shower room are on the ground floor, with an open plan kitchen/living space on the first floor. The kitchen provides a great space for creating some delicious dishes, while the comfy sofa and log burner make evenings even more cozy.

The Farmhouse Annexe

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You'll discover our traditional Cornish self-contained annexe surrounded by daffodil fields, close to the beautiful Lizard peninsula with full use of a delightful enclosed private garden. The quintessential fishing village of Porthleven is a 10 minute drive, the cobbled streets of St Ives are 30 minutes, while the famous Poldark mine is less than 5 minutes by car. Local beaches include Dollar Cove, Church Cove, Poldhu and Kynance Cove.

Mazal House Studio.

Mazal Studio is a self contained annex, with a double bedroom with shower, separate WC and basin and a basic kitchen/utility room. Although there are no facilities to cook as such there is a small microwave oven and fridge for your convenience, you are more than welcome to bring food in. We are situated a short distance from Helston town centre and are very close to Coronation Park and the Boating Lake. Lidl is a 2 minute walk away, as is the beautiful Penrose walk down to Loe Bar.

Three bed cottage in Helston, near Porthleven

Scandi chic meets Cornish cool in this characterful 1850s Cornish stone cottage, tucked away on a pretty side street, yet moments away from Helston town centre with shops, cafe's, a small cinema and the CAST arts centre with pottery and yoga on your doorstep. Just a short drive to the sea and acclaimed restaurants of Porthleven. Watch the sunset from the window seat with views across the valley, while sounds of the church bells and the Helston brass band waft through the air.

Lamarth Farm Cottage is part of a new extension to our farmhouse. It is a modern comfortable 2 bedroom cottage, which is dog friendly and ideally situated for exploring the Lizard Peninsula and West Cornwall. You don't need to go far from Lamarth Farm to find sandy beaches, the SW coastal path and small villages with wonderful restaurants and pubs Kynance Cove, St Michaels Mount, Lizard Point, Porthleven and the Helford River and so many more just waiting to be discovered…

3 bed house with amazing sea view and beach access

A stunningly situated 3 bedroom house, overlooking idyllic Polurrian Beach on the edge of the Lizard. The perfect spot for a magic Cornwall family holiday, the secluded comfy three bed house has incredible sea views and direct access to one of the Lizard's prettiest beaches. There's also a lovely garden and large private field to walk the dog. A short walk to the south-west coastal path, nearby surf spots and great food in Porthleven, there's something for everyone.

Baileys Little House time to relax

You will find Baileys Little House in the heart of Cornwall. The historic town of Helston is a 5 minute drive away. There is easy access to beaches, the quaint fishing village of Porthleven is nearby while Falmouth and St Ives are a short drive away. Baileys Little House is a small converted barn with all the comforts you would expect while on holiday. It is open plan living with a separate wet room and a cobbled courtyard exclusively for your stay.

Martlett Barn

Martlett Barn is situated in lovely rural surroundings with fabulous views overlooking Penrose (National Trust) and within walking distance of Helston and Loe Bar. Porthleven Harbour is only 1.5 miles away. Hirondelle Barn, also on Airbnb, is situated at the same location and offers similar accommodation to Martlett. Ideal if you have friends that would like to come and stay at the same time.
