Het huisje is gunstig gelegen, op een steenworp van het natuurgebied De Broekbeemt, Borgloon, Hasselt en Sint-Truiden. Er is de ook mogelijkheid om elektrische mountainbike te huren

La Granota

Boven op de Heistse berg ben je geen 5 min. verwijderd van dé Heistse winkelstraat met ontbijt- en andere eetgelegenheden, gezellige cafés met terrasjes en het culturele centrum. Muziekliefhebber? De befaamde Hnita Jazzhoeve bevindt zich op 2 km, de wei van Werchter op 15 km. La Granota is maar 20 min. stappen van het treinstation. Leuven of Antwerpen zijn dus dichtbij.
