That Dam Cabin, too!

This historic yet modern 500 square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway for us and wanted others to share this experience too. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to the Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire.

Whether you’re coming out to ski or snowboard, or just enjoy the outdoors, you’re looking at the perfect location! The Villa Costalotta (we are being facetious) is a standalone building separated from our cabin by a paved alleyway. We live out in the country, just 3 miles from Eagle, with no near neighbors so mostly what you hear is the creek behind the building and the nearest neighbor’s rooster crowing. We have installed Starlink for internet service with over 100Mbps download speed.
