Rustic Space Perched in the Hollywood Hills

Drink in panoramic city views from Hollywood to the ocean from the freestanding bathtub at a private guest unit nestled in the wooded hillside. Wake up in the cabin-like bedroom and step out onto the sun-drenched terrace for a cup of coffee or tea. Listed in Time Out “Top Airbnb’s in LA” https://www.timeout.com/los-angeles/hotels/best-airbnbs-in-los-angeles An extremely well designed open plan guest unit: complete with queen bed, bathtub & sink, private toilet, small fridge, with inside and outside hang out space and a strong bluetooth speaker for music. Also included is a hot plate, all cooking utensils necessary, a Nespresso machine with pods and an American standard coffee pot with coffee and sugar, a microwave, and filtered drinking water. (the iMac and screen are removed from the desk, and the unit will be delivered with no clutter of any kind. Bring your devices as they will be happy with the blazing fast internet and power ports all over the house, inside and out.) Toilet and sink are located 1 step from the French doors, behind the antler of the main picture of the listing. Fridge also located outside the unit by one step from the opposite french door. Guest unit requires your ability to climb many stairs from the street level, so it is best as a guest you are comfortable with stairs. You may access the exterior day bed shown in the photos and outdoor shower on the walkway up to the guest unit. The guest unit is at the rear of my home with complete privacy. The outdoor shower is shared with the main house. Guests have their own private entrance and exit to the shower from the guest unit. Stairs! It is required you walk up three sets of stairs from the street to access the guest unit in the back of the home. Guests that are comfortable with stairs will have no issues. I am happy to help any guests with their plans while here in the city on their arrival. Afterward I am reachable via email or text throughout your stay to offer any more guidance or help. The guest suite sits on a quiet street, near Franklin Village, restaurants, and the lovely Griffith Park. The neighborhood’s dramatic hills are great for walking, and it’s convenient to Hollywood, Los Feliz, and Silver Lake. Parking is always available on the street in front of the house (and it's FREE) and the local DASH bus is available in a matter of minutes after a short walk down the hill that goes straight to the metro. Renting a car while in LA however is recommended as the city is very large. Many of my guests use Uber as well for its convenience. No Smoking inside the unit. No pets. Outdoor shower is shared with the main house. Location is not conducive for guests with young children.

A free-standing building nestled behind our Spanish revival home in a quiet Burbank neighborhood. Vaulted ceiling with skylight. Brand new bathroom with rain-shower and soaker tub. Large living room and kitchenette space and a huge bedroom with plenty of storage. There is dedicated wi-fi and a comfortable office area. The house is filled with artwork from LA artists, to bring a little of the LA streets to the comforts of Burbank. Guests will have access to dedicated Internet Wi-fi, Roku TV, Netfix, Amazon and HBO, outdoor dining area BBQ. A washer and dryer are available if needed. The guesthouse is a separate free-standing building located behind the main house with a private, keyless entrance. We live in the main house. We look forward to meeting you! Our guesthouse is perfect for industry people needing to be close to the frenetic energy of Hollywood, but who still like the peace and quiet of a private retreat. For those looking to explore Los Angeles, we are close to the studios, shopping, Griffith Park, public transit and all major thoroughfares. There is one queen sized bed with a memory foam topper. An additional single bed can be added to the room if needed. The guesthouse has a separate kitchen area, however it is not a full kitchen. There is no stove or range. There is a microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge/freezer. At this time we do not accept long term guests.

Tranquil Suite in the Heart of Los Feliz Near Griffith Park

Pour a cup of Espresso and enjoy it out on the peaceful private patio, accompanied by the gentle scent of lemons wafting from the tree. The walls of this restorative and light-filled home are adorned with pottery and pieces from local artists. The suite is situated at the end of our gated and electric driveway behind the main house. While we want you to enjoy your stay and feel completely at home, we do ask that you keep it down when walking to and from the unit and when on the private patio (as a courtesy to our neighbors). We will give you a unique code for both the driveway gate as well as the guesthouse itself. The code is reset with every guest. We are available for questions and help before and during your stay. Stroll less than a mile to come to Griffith Park, with dozens of restaurants and coffee shops, plus several movie theaters, also within walking distance in Los Feliz village. Catch big-name artists in the Greek Theatre a mile and a half away. We are walking distance to most things including the Red Line Subway Station at Vermont and Sunset. The kitchen is stocked with a Nespresso Machine (we will provide 2 pods per day for the length of your stay), tea kettle + assorted teas, olive oil, salt, pepper, dish soap, fresh kitchen sponge, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and hand soaps. It's nestled in Beachwood Canyon, which is very centrally located-just minutes away from the 101 FWY and Universal Studios. Hollywood Blvd is only about 1 mile away. Other attractions nearby are Pantages Theater, Hollywood Bowl, Grauman's Chinese Theater, Hollywood and Highland, Warner Bros Studio, The Grove, Sunset Blvd and more. You can walk to several restaurants. Uber is also available if you don't have a car.
