This cosy, comfortable, family home is conveniently situated in the village of Gortahork on the Wild Atlantic Way, in the heart of the Gaeltacht. It's a 5 minute drive to Magheraroarty Beach. It's near Mount Errigal, Glenveagh National Park, Dunlewey Lakeside Centre, Dunfanaghy, Gweedore, Cloughaneely Golf Club and Ballyness Beach. This is an ideal location for anyone interested in outdoor activities with hikes, golf, sea kayaking, rock climbing and surfing all accessible in the area.

Donegal Thatch Cottage

Paddys thatched cottage is a recently renovated property built circa 1880 set on 7 acres of farmland & still retains the original features/character including the internal exposed stone wall & large fireplace making it very cosy. This area is very popular for trail walking in the hills or the purpose built walkways. Outdoor activities are plentiful such as kayaking, sea swimming, guided rock climbing & golfing. If the weather doesn't permit you can always light the stove & put the feet up.

Téach Néil Mhanais

Situated in Falcarragh, Teach Neil Mhanais features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The holiday home features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a patio with sea views. Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area or keep themselves warm by the fireplace on colder days. Teach Barney in the stunning North West of Donegal 1km from Gaeltacht Village of Falcarragh with views of the mountains and the ocean. The house is comfortable with a large private decked area. Visitors can enjoy walking/cycling on many miles of marked walks including the disused single gauge railway. The pristine beaches, ocean and mountains are within minutes of the house, ideal for deep sea fishing, surfing, kayaking, boat trips, guided walks, mountain climbing and cycling.

A traditional cottage with living area and hearth at its centre and a double room and shower room flank either side. It rests in the heart of the Gaeltacht on a laneway 1km from the village of Gortahork. It is shaded by majestic trees, a vegetable garden and views of Magheraroarty beach. The Poison Glen and Errigal mountain are within 10 minutes drive. The cottage is at the heart of a variety of outdoor pursuits, cultural experiences and nature itself.

This tastefully restored formed Sheep Farmer's cottage is ideal base for your visit to Donegal. Located on the Wild Atlantic Way just outside the village of Kilcar with Sleive League to the West and Killybegs and Donegal town to the south. This is an ideal place to settle into for a night or two and return to each evening after visiting the beautiful Donegal countryside. There are wonderful views from the cottage of Sleive League (Sliabh Liag) beyond.

Entire place . Lovely light airy place with sea views, open fire , sleeps 2. Own entrance to entire place panoramic sea views with access to beach from property . Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea & coffee and some kitchen basics oil, flour salt pepper. Dining area, sitting room and ensuite double bedroom. Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.
