Maggie May is the cutest little 1850's miners cottage located in a quiet Street and is close to Ballarat CBD, Sovereign hill and the Ballarat Wildlife Park. She is newly renovated, whilst retaining her traditional and charming authentic self she has been thoughtfully and beautifully decorated. By day enjoy in friends, couples or family fun time in a game of backyard finska, by night chats and giggles by the fire pit or watch your favourite Netflix series and then cozy up in a comfortable bed.

Your cabin is simple and comfortable, a bedroom, large bathroom, and deep bath. No TV. Days move between the vines and watching the sun going down. Mabel (who we blame for most things) is often nearby. On weekends, the cellar door is open. A little rugged, slightly offbeat, and better for it.

The Cottage @ Hedges is an easy 10 minute drive from the centre of Ballarat. The cottage sits within a pretty country garden about 20 metres from my home on a small rural property. Close to parklands, Lake Wendouree, art galleries, wineries and lots of great cafes and restaurants. The Ballarat-Skipton Railtrail is just 300 metres away - perfect for quiet country walks and cyclists. It is comfortable inside and out with plenty of shady spots to sit in the garden.

Set on the edge of a national park, there are lots of walks & bike riding trails around. You are welcome to pat, feed and play with the horses. There are also push bikes and fishing rods you can use.
