Brae Cottage overlooks Whitehead, Islandmagee and Belfast Lough on the Causeway Costal Route and is 16 miles from Belfast. It is an ideal location to explore NI and provides guests with a quiet semi-rural location and yet is convenient to Whitehead where you will find local shops and cafes and also a train station with links to Belfast. Local attractions include Blackhead Coastal Walk, Whitehead Railway Museum and the Gobbins Cliff Path Walk which is located approx. 2 miles from the cottage.

Stone cottage

Lovely 200 year old fully modernised cottage with fully fitted modern kitchen for guests to use. We provide a food cupboard with tea, coffee and cereal etc. We leave bread and milk , and soft drinks. If you require anything else, please let us know . Convenient downstairs toilet and an ensuite upstairs . Free wifi. Restoration of the gate lodge was completed in 2019 and undertaken with the utmost regard for the history of the building with many of the existing 18th century features sympathetically maintained whilst providing the comforts of 21st century living in a traditional country cottage style turning it once again into a real eye catcher.
