Come farmstay at a homestead at our unique, bespoke, completely private little house, that is totally off-grid and almost fully self sufficient. The homestead farm is tucked away in an indigenous forest and the secluded, comfortable, eco-cottage overlooks the Gonubie River valley a stone's throw from East London, with easy access to East London Airport (King Phalo Airport). You are welcome to take a tour of the farm and systems, harvest your own organic vegetables, or just relax on the deck.

The Beach Cottage

The Beach Cottage is a self-catering cottage on a working dairy farm within walking distance to the beach. It is only 10km from the EL airport and a 20 minute drive into EL. The cottage has beautiful views of the sea as well as of cows grazing on green pastures. It has a fully functional kitchen. Tea, coffee, fresh farm milk & rusks are provided on arrival. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. Please note, own transport advisable as we are on a farm.

The Cottage at Swansea

Our newly renovated, modern, cottage is situated between Yellow Sands beach & Glengariff on our family-owned farm Swansea. Secluded & private property, 25km from East London. Safe, easy 300m walk to the beach. Enjoy walks, explore the rock pools, rock & surf fishing & a 15 min walk to Yellow Sands beach for fantastic surfing & swimming. The 2 bedroom cottage sleeps 4 and offers open plan fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher & dining, leading on to undercover braai area with sea views.

Gonubie Beachside Delight

Introducing a contemporary retreat with expansive sea view of Gonubie beach, this fully furnished, modern two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment epitomizes sleek sophistication. All within meters of the beach, local bars and great coffee shops.

Lochy's House is the perfect escape if you want to get away from all the noise and chaos of town life. This self catering accommodation, nestled in the gorgeous, rural village of Sunrise on Sea (which is perched on the border of the East London Coast Nature Reserve), you will find peace and tranquility while you enjoy an evening beach walk or a sun downer on the balcony while taking in the sea view and salty air. The beach is only 200m away and an easy, enjoyable walk.

Rivers Edge - Luxury Studio

This brand new luxury guest studio is ready to spoil you. It has a fully equipped kitchenette to allow for self catering, including a private braai area. A Lovely bathroom with great hot water. Guests can enjoy a swim in the pool and daily walks along the river via the public path across the street. Come and enjoy fishing, canoeing, bird watching and cycling. A few kilometers from the main beach and local surf spots. Near to shops and large shopping malls

Our self catering studio, with backup power and aircon, is connected to the main house. It offers a neat and cozy open plan studio style unit with private entrance and private deck. There is remote access and off street parking for 1 vehicle. Double cab bakkies with a tow hitch don’t fit when there’s 2 cars parked in - where on street parking is generally safe in our quiet neighbourhood. Nahoon Beach and river is 1.5km, Spar and restaurants 500m away.

The accommodation unit consists of a lounge area and en-suite bedroom with a separate entrance to that of the main house. A small kitchenette with a fridge, kettle, microwave is included. (there is no kitchen) Max. 2 people. The house is situated in the quiet Sunrise-on-Sea suburb within walking distance of the sea. It is approx 20 minutes drive from the East London CBD and 35 minutes drive from the airport.
