Beaches, hiking and biking are right outside the front door! This little area is known as Brock’s Beach and was settled by a few families that would buy the entire street. When their kids grew up, they built little cottages on their parent’s street so people around this area have a life time of enjoying this hidden gem and everyone knows everyone. In the evening, everyone walks along the beach or down the tree lined streets. In the summer, everyone sits in the front yard with a campfire so they can say hello to their neighbours. As only a few homes are winterized, the area is very peaceful in the winter. Warbler’s Roost is on a 14-acre property on Deer Lake, 3785D Eagle Lake Rd which is 20 min west of the small village of South River, just north of Huntsville. It is near many of the forgotten trails network of trails and 40 minutes west of Algonquin Park’s access point 1 (water access only). Warbler’s Roost includes a Country Inn which has six rooms available for daily/weekly rentals with continental breakfast. NB: during the pandemic, we are restricting bookings to one room on each floor.
