This family house was built in the 18th century and has passed through the family from generation to generation, eventually falling into a state of disrepair. In the past year Kalliope has lovingly refurbished this beautiful building, saving where possible many of its original features but also adding some important modern conveniences that make this house not only an atmospheric, but comfortable place to stay at any time of the year. With 2 traditional tavernas within walking distances!

The Stone House in Aspro (North Side)

The Northern Stone House is a fully-equipped traditional cottage with a large outdoor yard, in the village of Aspro, Chania. It was built in the late 1800s and renovated in 2020 by myself and my father. Our goal was to create a space that is simple, serene and evocative of older times, yet is completely functional in the modern sense. It's located 2km away from the area's main village Almyrida, where you can find some basic stores, restaurants, as well as a couple of beautiful beaches.

"Σπίτι ώστε να χωρείς και χωράφι όσο μπορείς", έλεγαν τότε. Σήμερα, το φιλόξενο αυτό σπίτι ελκύει με την απλότητά του και χαρίζει ηρεμία στον επισκέπτη του.
