Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Oceanfront Cottage Galiano Island

Bright open–space living & dining area with a cozy wood burning fireplace. Furnished 2 bedroom cottage,1 queen and 2 double beds, and bathroom with walk-in shower. Our kitchen comes stored with dishes, cookware and appliances. The fireplace is a cozy accessory for those crisp winter days. The large 300 sq. ft. deck is the perfect place to relax on the deck chairs and enjoy the beautiful sunsets and views of spectacular Whaler Bay. There's also a propane BBQ so you can grill up your summer faves.

Cozy South End Room - Galiano Island

Bright converted garage with separate entrance nestled between the Bluffs and Mount Galiano. Enjoy a hot beverage, tea or coffee, or have a cold drink from your bar fridge while you wait for your BBQ. Your private deck overlooks a meadow perfect to enjoy a re-heated meal from the local restaurants. You are very welcome to use our fenced yard. Access to magnificent Mount Galiano is only minutes away! Your rural home on “The Gem of the Gulf Islands” is perfect for 2 adults plus a smaller teenager.

Galiano's Captains Quarters 1894 Heritage LogHouse

NEW King sized Master Bed. We welcome every guest with our own cold-smoked sockeye ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)... and complimentary fresh organic farm produce, seasonally whatever's growing. The Captain's Quarters is a two storey, luxury romantic getaway, an 1894 Heritage Log House on 10 secluded acres of our organic Cable Bay Farm mid-island on Galiano. It is beautifully restored with fine woods, fully equipped & very PRIVATE especially for couples with its own Hottub sunken into a spacious wood front deck.

Galiano Island Cabin

This is a cosy cabin sits on seven acres of land with water access. It has a firewood stove and hardwood floors in the main part of the cabin - tiling the living room. The decor is country chic. The property is rural about 11 miles from any store but close to beautiful hiking trails, and has access to a staircase down to a deck at the water where we swim. We face Saltspring Island and the southern tip of Wallace - in fact it is just a kayak ride across Trincomali channel to Salt Spring.

Cozy Cabin Retreat

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located place. Approximately a 10 minute walk from Sturdies Bay terminal, come and unwind in this newly renovated, cozy, home away from home. Stay for a few days, a week or even longer and enjoy everything Galiano has to offer. After cooking a nice meal with brand new appliances, enjoy a peaceful night in with the wood burning stove .... or maybe head over to the Hummingbird and let someone cook for you! Galiano is waiting for you!

Galiano Harbour View House

Spectacular views! Galiano Harbour View House is 3 bedrooms, on private wooded acreage with views over water & islands. 850 sq. feet of west facing deck for amazing sunsets, and always a shady spot with a view. From $265 / weeknight low season to some $ 425 nights in summer. Prices based on 4 persons, additional guests are $30 / person / night. $100 cleaning fee on all bookings. 6 night minimum in summer, 5% discount on 7 nights.

Rustic cabin in the woods

Mid-island, this rustic cabin is perfect for any couple (or small group) shacking up in the woods. Features a full kitchen inside, outhouse, outdoor shower, fire pit, covered porch & access to pebble beach trails, making this a magical retreat. Please note that while there is wi-fi at the cabin, there is no cell reception on the property, and many guests have mentioned that they’ve enjoyed the chance to unplug and connect with nature.

Galiano Grow House Farm Stay

Welcome to Galiano Grow House! A beautiful organic 'ish' farm in a secluded and ideal setting for you and your group to enjoy. This purpose-built and recently renovated cabin has locally harvested wood features, a cozy atmosphere, with plentiful views of the surrounding forest and garden. A sizeable kitchen, 2 large main decks, and balconies off of each bedroom. Fresh veggies/micro-greens with every stay.

Cozy waterfront cabin with tiny house & hot tub

A-Frame for memories is a short walk from the ferry dock and the whaler bay marina. The main cabin sleeps 4 with a queen size bed in the loft and a pullout couch. In addition, there is a tiny house available that would allow for an increase in available group accommodation size. The waterfront cabin includes access to a hot tub where you can soak in the waterfront ocean view.. AND the tub.

Galiano Cabin Hideaway

The cabin has a double bed plus a twin size guest bed on the main floor, very comfortable accommodation for two or three guests. It also has a self contained second bedroom and bath on the ground floor with its own private entrance that is ideal for sharing with one or two guests. There is a $125 per night fee for this additional bed and bath.

Arrow's Run is a private, self contained, two bedroom, one bathroom, ocean view suite located in a woodland setting just a short walk away from the warm, summer waters of beach access #55. This garden level suite is a bright, modern, open-concept, living space with French doors that open to a beautiful, porch over looking the ocean.
