My house in Forestville is a walk to the river (Steelhead County Beach), near endless wineries, canoe rentals, gorgeous Sonoma coast beaches, Santa Rosa airport, a bicycle trail through West County with bike rentals in downtown Forestville offering immediate access to the trail, and a very well-stocked little grocery store a 5-minute walk down the hill. Lovely back roads take you to Healdsburg to the north or Sebastopol to the south. My dog & I stay in a basement studio when guests are here.

Bright, and airy with windows throughout and a spectacular view of the redwoods. You are just under a ten minute car ride away from the beach. The property is on 3 acres with over 100 redwoods too large to put your arms around. The large decks, stone patio and pathways, hot tub, and grill add to the opportunity to forest bathe and enjoy the outdoor beauty.

Tucked amongst Redwoods and ivy on the hill, our forest getaway has a magical feel. Escape the hustle, relax in the hot tub and enjoy the upgraded home. Walk down to the river or the Rio Nido Roadhouse. Downtown Guerneville and Armstrong Woods State Park are a 5 min drive. Haven in the Woods is a short drive from wine tasting rooms and a MacKenzie Northwood Golf Club. Note: Must climb stairs to the house and we do not have a TV (though have strong internet). Modern mid-century-inspired, Deer Ranch

Deer Ranch is a remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home sitting on four acres of private land, with outdoor decks, hot tub, and plunge pool. This contemporary Frank Lloyd Wright-styled-like home sits on top of a hill with meadows below and towering redwoods that add to a peaceful seclusion getaway, and still only minutes from the hamlet of Occidental (1.3 miles). The pool is open during the summer months only (late May-end of September). The hot tub is on all year-round.
