This is a rare opportunity to be the only guests on 220 acres of gentle hills with grasslands interspersed with trees and ponds. You may explore the woodlands and wetlands as well as the sustainable grazing of sheep. The back yard is filled with an organic vegetable garden and across the yard are honeybees. Your family may participate in any and all of it. The newly renovated apartment is the upstairs of my farmhouse. It includes a private entrance, full kitchen and deck overlooking the lake.

Enjoy quiet, rustic living just minutes from downtown Perrysburg. Located on the Maumee river. You will see all kinds of wildlife and feel relaxation in the cabin at our river home. The cabin is attached to the main home with separate entrance and separate space. There is an area for sitting outside to enjoy the views or make a fire. Kayaks are available with a 15 minute paddle to a sandbar To get to the cabin you park up top and have to walk down 48 steps.

Everything inside and outside the cottage was recently remodeled including a brand new bathroom. You and your guests will love the well manicured property. Come enjoy the peaceful countryside just 10 minutes off the tollroad in northwest Ohio. We have a separate one bedroom apartment on our fifth generation farm. My grandparents added this space onto the barn in 1968 so they had a place to stay when visiting. Now that they have passed, we have this space to share with others who are visiting or passing through the area . The space is perfect for one or two people.

Walking distance to winery, brewery, coffee shop, historic restaurant and bar, and quaint downtown businesses and shops. The Armory also hosts an art gallery, event space, and hair salon.

Walden Cottage

We are accepting guests for short terms stays of up to a week. We are flexible and could extend this for possibly two weeks, but we also want our apartment available for our family and friends. We are new grandparents and want to be able to host our family and friends throughout the year.
