The Nest at Camp Skoglund

Sitting 125 feet from the east shore of Echo Lake is the Nest at Camp Skoglund. A cozy cottage for two with all of the amenities you will need. Your deck provides a wooded view of the lake and we offer a fully equipped waterfront for your relaxation and fun on the water. A fire pit is also available. If you need lodging for more than 2, please inquire about our other cabin, Pop's (also on AirBnb). We are open seasonally starting in early June until Columbus Day or later depending on the weather.

The cottage comes completely stocked with towels, bedding, cookware, family games and a PS4. There is a deck overlooking the water as well as a yogo platform that can double as a tent platform. Your cozy getaway awaits in Wayne at this superb lake-front cottage. With 2 bedrooms, including a king bed and a queen bed, as well as an additional sofa bed, this soothing retreat offers a phenomenal escape for guests. The cottage features all the essentials you need, such as heating, WiFi, an iron, AC, a hair dryer, and a washing machine. The 1.5 bathrooms are equipped with hair dryers and towels. On-site dock access to Androscoggin Lake as well as access to our nearby community beach.

BREEZE, in a tree The Appleton Retreat

BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

Authentic Maine camp. Cedar Crest is on pristine Echo Lake in Fayette, ME (20 mins from city of Augusta). A 1950's traditional Maine camp just 25 ft from the lake, with 1,000 sq. ft, 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6), and outdoor space. Renovated with eastern white pine boards, woodstove & a heat pump for cool mornings and night. One bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen that boasts a live edge pine countertop. Unique camp decor. Min 3 nights (min 2 nights Sep/Oct)

This newly renovated cabin features a screen porch with views of the sunset over the pond. Horseshoe Pond is perfect for swimming or a quiet paddle. Kayaks available. Loons and bald eagles frequently visit the pond. PLEASE NOTE: Half mile access road is in poor condition - need 4 wheel drive vehicle or vehicle with high clearance. ALSO: No wifi is currently available in the cabin. It is available on our neighboring property for short-term use.
