Herons is totally unique, a beautiful detached lodge situated on the banks of the River Thames. Beautiful interiors and the views are simply wonderful from sunrise to sunset. Herons is the perfect place to unwind and relax, just sit and watch the wildlife and the boats milling along the river. Nearby are the Thames Market towns of Wallingford, Henley and Abingdon and the beautiful surrounding countryside.The historic city of Oxford is only 8 miles away and Bicester Village is a 30 minute drive.

The apartment is only a short walk away from Wallingford town centre yet the village offers its own rural charm. The newly refurbished The Bell pub, offers a great selection of ales, wines and food and is within walking distance. IMPORTANT: ******* Check in, from 2 pm. Please do not arrive any earlier without first consulting us AirBnB will implement a hefty service fee for all hosts from 25 April, hence the price jump. Enjoy a glass of bubbles on your own private terrace before strolling to dinner at this famous Cotswold stone Manor. Fully wheelchair accessible & with private parking this unique property is the perfect place for a few days away walking in the nearby Chilterns, exploring Oxford’s Colleges & Cafes, visiting Art & Literary Fairs or attending appointments at Oxford’s many leading hospitals.

Steeped in history, once a bustling Roman town and a prominent route for pilgrims. We are situated right on the edge of the village; no where near busy roads so it’s blissfully quiet - just the sheep in the field and the church bells. We have some lovely pubs and a great farm shop selling local produce. And Oxford is only 15 mins away!

Brightwell Baldwin is a small hamlet close to the market and historic town of Watlington. Henley-on-Thames and Oxford City Centre are a short drive away.

Welcome to Honeysuckle, our luxury shepherd's hut with stunning views across the fields in the Chilterns. In the evenings sit and watch the sun go down around your fire pit or stay cosy indoors with your log burner. We are a working farm and you may see the tractor trundle past feeding our herds of Texal sheep (Lambing right in front of you in April 2026!) and Limousin cows grazing in fields, or watch the many birds. You have your own secluded, fenced and private garden area with seating.

Fantastic pub in the neighbouring village that serves food most days (please check) and there is a very well equipped kitchen should you like to cook for yourselves. Easy access to Oxfordshire best countryside walks too.

Luxury self-contained annexe on the edge of the Chilterns, situated in the peaceful countryside which can be enjoyed from the hot tub, yet only 5 mins to the M40, 15 mins to Oxford Park & Ride & 15 mins to the station with trains to London taking 45 mins. It is the perfect place to relax with cosy lounge, wood burning stove, bespoke kitchen & underfloor heating. Upstairs features a super-king sized bed, seating area, luxury wet-room with underfloor heating, balcony and Jacuzzi.

Gardeners’ Cottage (Georgian stable conversion)

An entirely self contained cottage, recently converted from a Georgian stable and gardeners’ lodge. While adjacent to the owners property it is entirely separate, with its own secure parking and EV charger. Located in a small village, with two pubs on doorstep. Market town of Wallingford (setting for “Midsomer Murders”) is short walk, many amenities including boat rides on the River Thames an outdoor heated pool (summer), great restaurants and shops including Waitrose.
