The Farm House Cottage

The Farmhouse is the perfect getaway. Spring/Summer head out into the fresh air, watch the cattle graze, wander around the gardens, smell the sweet scent of Wisteria pick seasonal fruits, vegetables and herbs, or take it easy on a lounger in the sun with a book and a cold beverage. In the evening relax by the outdoor fire pit and enjoy the evening skyline. Fall/Winter cozy up in an armchair in front of the fireplace and watch the seasons change. Our 1910 FarmHouse Cottage... This is an adult-only property and is not ADA (American Disabilities Act) compliant. We expect our guests to treat our home with the utmost respect. If any violations of these house rules occur, you will owe the full deposit. MAX OCCUPANCY: 4 Guests. Any additional guests must be pre-approved prior to check in. (The couch is not a sleeper sofa) ADDITIONAL GUESTS NOT PRE-APPROVED: All overnight guests that are not booked or pre-approved prior to your check in, will be charged at time of check out " $50.00 a night per guest, per night " along with any additional fees. Please do not remove from Cottage for any other purpose other than to use in the Cottage. MAIN BEDROOM: Queen Tempur- Pedic Cloud adjustable bed with wireless remote, Luxury bedding. 2nd BEDROOM: Full bed, Pillow top, Luxury bedding. BATHROOM: Spa tub, Yummy... Soaks and Soaps, Fluffy towels, Hair Dryer, Shampoo. OUTDOOR SPACE: Three outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Canyon Creek Cabins: #2

This small cabin for two is perched on a granite ledge, overlooking a rushing river. It is comprised of two small structures connected by a deck. The first structure is a converted shipping container that has a kitchen, bathroom, living room, and outdoor patio. The second structure contains a cozy sleeping cabin, glass sunroom, and stone fireplace. The hot tub is nestled in to the woods overlooking the river, accessible by a lighted trail. The area: The cabin is a one hour drive from Seattle, and just minutes outside of Granite Falls, WA. This area is often refered to as the gateway to the Cascades, and the cabin is just a 20-minute drive to some of the best hiking and most beautiful natural features that Washington has to offer. Some of our favorite hikes include: Gothic Basin, Big Four Ice Caves, Mt. Pilchuck Fire Lookout, Lake Twenty-Two, and Heather Lake. Our cabins are in a small and private community. While we encourage guests to visit the nearby park and to explore the trails on the Cascade Loop Highway, we ask guests to please refrain from wandering the private roads of the community, as the neighbors appreciate their privacy. Frequently Asked Questions: Do you allow dogs? — Yes. We are dog friendly, but do not allow other pets. Can I check-in early or check-out late? — No. Our cabins are often booked back-to-back, and our cleaners need time to prepare the cabin for the next guest. There is not a good area to hang out in while the cleaning is being finished so it's best to arrive at check-in time. What's in the kitchen? — The kitchen is small and stocked with the basics: stovetop, microwave, pots, dishes, spices, dry goods. One thing to take note of when planning your meals is that there is not an oven at this cabin, however we do have a BBQ grill. What's the coffee situation? — We keep Stamp Act coffee, an electric grinder, and a stainless steel french press at the cabin. What's a good restaurant or bar nearby? — We recommend spending as much time at the cabin and in nature as possible. So, plan to bring food and drinks with you. Local favorites in town include Omega pizza (takout pizza and salads) and the Spar Tree (local bar).

This one-bedroom, fully equipped home is located on five wooded acres, across the driveway from the host's primary residence. In the past, the home was used by my in-laws. The location is very quiet with an on-site hiking trail through majestic evergreen trees. We are within a mile of shopping and dining facilities. We are within a half hour drive of Seattle and Everett, Washington.
