If a power outage lasts longer than 24 hours, or if unusually high-power appliances are used during the outage (such as a portable hot plate, hair dryer, or similar devices), the batteries may discharge more quickly and the backup time will be reduced. This system is intended to ensure that you can comfortably continue your stay even during the occasional scheduled power outages in the area.
