This unique place has a style all its own. Renovated by the owner a renowned hotel and interior designer from Singapore, this beautiful house sits in its own grounds in a peaceful county side setting, whilst being close to local towns and amenities. It has its own private swimming pool in an idyllic setting overlooking lovely countryside. It also has a bathroom with a sauna spa to enjoy after a busy day enjoying the pool. All of the bedding is Egyptian cotton and we provide high quality towels.

Stylish lodge and pool in the Charente countryside

A relaxing and peaceful lodge set in the grounds of a 200-year-old farmhouse in over 11 acres of orchard and meadow. L'oume Lodge sits at the edge of a meadow and has a private gated entrance and parking. There is a private terrace with a built-in BBQ and garden, beyond which is the gated shared pool area The pool is 6 x 12 m with a constant depth of 1.25 m and a shallow side pool for young children. There's also a pool house/summer kitchen, BBQ and wisteria-covered eating area at the pool.

We look forward to welcoming you into the characterful 'Petit Manoir' in the heart of the Perigord Vert. Our extensive gardens are the perfect place to relax, or if you wish to venture further, there are plenty of walks from the front door. The charming wing includes a master bedroom on the first floor with adjoining pigeonnier for use as study or extra bedroom, while the ground floor comprises a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, kitchen, open plan living/dining room and an exercise room.

Gite with disabled access/PMR caters for 6 people. The grounds offer a large heated pool w/shower, shaded deck lounge area, petanque pitch, tree house & games barn (table tennis, babyfoot, darts). Set in the heart of Verteuil a petite citie de caractere in the Charente we welcome you to Ma jolie petite maison, a one double bedroomed gite that sleeps 4. The building is over 200 years old and has been completely refurbished in 2024. With exposed stone walls and original fireplaces, lit by vintage French chandeliers and tasteful wall lights, the gite is both cosy and comfortable. During your stay you will have exclusive use of the heated swimming pool and a large Moroccan style barn.
