Come and enjoy what was originally built for an artist’s studio and converted to a pet-friendly cozy living space. The studio is a spacious 800-sq ft open-concept layout with charming skylights in the kitchen and bathroom, and windows to overlook Lake Superior. We’re located on Croftville Road, which locals call the "Walkers Road" - quiet to traffic and perfect for a casual stroll. This cozy cabin provides a perfect getaway and is a gem in all seasons, especially during the fall colors or a blowing winter storm. Timber frame cabin built on a hilltop, on 20 acres of old growth maples. Walls of glass, a screened in porch and a wrap around deck bring the outdoors inside. The ridge top location has spectacular views through the trees - with lake views after the leaves drop. The property also boasts a fantastic wood fired cedar sauna - perfect for rejuvenating.

Our Little House is located just 3 short miles from beautiful down town Grand Marais. There are several stores where you can purchase supplies, a number of fun shops to meander through, good food, great coffee friendly people and of course, Beautiful Lake Superior! There are several hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobile trails as well as lakes for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. We are only 20 mi from Lutsen, and 3 from the North House Folk School to visit or take in a class.
